I guess I've been feeling angry sometimes again, but it's slowly lessening more and more. I used to feel like there was no hope, no happiness possible after leaving my fiancé. He hit my head against a door attempting to restrain me from calling the cops to leave him. I forgave him. I gave him another chance, but the emotional abuse just got worse and worse again until I had a seizure and he put a pillow on my head to keep me from screaming while i seized.

It was a really tough couple years but after what I like to call the "pillow incident" I left him and moved in with my best friend. Now I'm finally turning my life around and things are getting better, but there are still times when this feeling creeps up on me again, where I feel like I am just a dog with no bite, like all the fight has been beaten out of me, and I'm exhausted.
