Nope, the blue cat is from the Voltron 80s. Originally it was evil cat of Haggar the witch. But I always find this animal cute and think that Coba (the cat's name in the series) might fit in this art perdectly.
And I also still hope to see Haggar's cat in the Legendary Defender.

It's never late to get yourself familiar with the show. I mean, yeah, it looks a bit outdated for today's standards but I still think it worth watching, especially the original Japanese Golion. Of course if you like VLD.
