I've been meaning to do more sword/samurai works lately, as some kind of tribute to the warriors long past, and simply to express my interest in the subject, so here we are
I found this old kerosine lamp sitting on a shelf the other day, was covered in dust, and scortched to a nice shade of black, and I suddenly got the idea to do a cool sword shot with it. so I cleaned it up, and got out the camera this morning, and decided to take a few photos!

That's awesome. I also have an interest in that kind of thing... and though a Christian, I also admire many facets of Buddhism and such as well. This is a beautiful work... great shot, and the Creed fits in perfectly. Most excellent, and a +fav!

Wow. That is so cool. I love how you got the light to work the way it does and the inclusion of the Samurai Creed.. it's just magnificent! It has the essence of Samurai all over. It's a wonderful, marvelous piece. You have such a good eye for this stuff. Nice work.
