I might actually keep this one 8UWhat do you guys think? Have you seen a species yet that looks just like them?
If they look like another species, please tell me in a civil manor, chances are I either did not see the species, or didn't see any creatures from any species that looked close enough to these ones. I WILL alter the design if they are -too- close to the species.
Btw, their cheeks glow, so do the things they hand on their tails >o> those tail accessories would come in all kinds of shapes and sizes too.
The spines along their back and at the base of their tail are actually feathers (would depend on the type of critter), and the wings on their head are literally attached where the cheeks are, it's kind of a part of their cheeks.
.....I really want to fix the back legs so bad, they look horrid in these drawings for some reason o_O
Ah, oh and the only teeth they have are the two lower teeth in their mouths, they are herbivores.
Tell me, if I made these things a species (And gave them other traits to choose from), would you guys actually want -and use- these?

I don't think I ever saw something similar to these cuties (but then again, I'm not that active when it comes to seek art xP), and as soon as I read their cheeks glow I started squealing, that's adorable!

xD Yeah I don't see glowing cheeks or appendages too often, nor do I see rodent based species often, so I wanted to give it a shot. Mice and rats and other rodents can be adorable too >n> They need more love.

I really love the cheek, wing, feathers, lantern-tail ideas! I haven't seen any mouse-like species like this so far, these are very original. I think they'll sell very well and their design looks very flexible (to create out designs out of) and fun to draw. 
I wouldn't worry about any of the pony-species mentioned in the comments below looking too 'similar'. Honestly, I don't think they look alike at all. Those are equines, not rodents. Plus, those pony species are just only mere fan species. I don't think people can truly say they "own" a mlp pony species, they're a concept that is already copyrighted/trademarked by Hasbro in the first place. xC
Also, are these little guys small (like mice) or large like a rabbit? :3 Just curious

I think they were joking about the plant pony thing xD I do know there's lots of other ponies out there that may hold similarities, like some tree ponies that have lanterns hanging in their trees. I happen to own 2 plant ponies and one Lilicilian plant pony so I know they don't look alike xD
I admit I made the face on this critter similar to how I draw ponies, but that's just because it makes the face look rounder and appealing.
Ahhh the size, I have not settled on that yet. I think the young ones will probably be mouse size, where as full growns will be that of a rabbit or chinchilla

While it may be a joke or not, I think plant ponies sound really cool ! I've seen those lantern-tailed tree ponies, they don't look anywhere near like these rabbunnichillares other than the fact that they have latern tails.
That's okay x3 When I first started drawing ponies, everything I drew started to look pony-esque (especially the head shapes) and I didn't noticed until my Irl friend pointed it out to me in a class I had with her. Using Rounder features and rounded edges when designing creatures helps make the creature look more cuter and innocent.
Oooh that sounds so cuddly! I love chinchillas. xD

They'll end up a closed species, but for the first while of creating them, I plan to make them fairly easy to snag until they get a little more attention.
As I mentioned to someone else, I'll probably start them off at 500 points a pop, or 5 dollars for those who prefer paypal. Eeeeven if they have rare traits.

So cute! I would say they look similiar like a mix of adorableness, lanternies, and plant ponies. It's not close at all tho, just a tiny pinch~

I've never seen a species exactly like this though I have seen some dragons that have the lanterns on their tails before and I just discovered these ones fav.me/d7ayn43 that are slightly similar but different enough that you don't have to worry ^~^

As for the cuteness, I blame their origins.
I started it off as a bunny, then gave it shorter ears, and random features (including that ridiculous curly tail) and glowy cheeks, etc.
I'mmm not sure what I was really going for after the "rabbit" part.
So I guess these are pretty much rodents xP
