Description *sigh* if only I was a fashion photographer in Victorian London. I'd have a field day with my most beautiful muse.

Beautiful drawing--he looks lovely there too with his cloak draped around his shoulders like that. Makes me wish there were more photos taken of him like the Sunday Best one. I absolutely love that photo, he looks so dignified and happy to be, for once, in a photo where he can feel comfortable and relaxed. You know, the Sunday Best photo was the first one I saw of him, and what struck me first, was how dignified and, even, relaxed he looked. Because I hadn't known at the time that was pretty much the only one of him that was not medical, I was searching the net high and low for others like it...to no avail. I suppose we might have to settle for John Hurt in "The Elephant Man"

I know what you mean. I wish there were more Sunday Best pictures too. It looks like he's just going through the motions in the medical ones. Probably counting the minutes until everything's finished up, and he can go back to his room. You know what would be cool? A group photo of Joseph, Treves, and the nurses before they went to the theatre. It would be really interesting to see everyone in formal outfits. Especially Joseph. He probably looked so handsome in evening wear.

Oh, that would've been a really awesome photo! Yes, I'm sure he would've looked lovely in evening wear, despite being cloaked in the mask and cloak while at the theatre, unlike in the movie.

Thanks so much, my dear. And good to see you back, by the way.

Yeah, I really need to draw Joseph being has dashing self in evening garb. I sincerely wish I could've been one of those nurses who went with him that night.

Oh yes, so do I! Hey! That's another idea for an RP: perhaps a future RP on Merrick going to the theatre for the first time. Of course, beforehand, the nurses and Treves set it up as a surprise for him...what do you think?

Cool. Perhaps we could somehow segway it into the RP where he's first admitted to the isolation ward.

Having done our Lola RP (with the isolation ward), perhaps we can do an RP that goes from the isolation ward to the theatre, but without any fictional characters as such like Lola. I thought it was sweet of Nurse Irvingstone to get the courage up to apologize sincerely for her screaming at Joseph in "To Heal A Broken Soul". I can see it starting with Treves being notified/flagged down by a couple constables asking him to help them at Liverpool Street Station. Guess who Treves sees at the station...

Yeah, that could work. Maybe the female lead could just be good ol' Nurse Ireland.
