A scene from a fanfic written by Enigma81 on ffnet. This fanfic was called Gazitosis, and it's in the middle of being revised right now, but reviews are still welcome. ^^ Enigma was nice enough to allow me to draw some fanart for the stories! Yay! (gives Enigma a hug and a plate full of cupcakes)
This is from the first chapter, where Zim decides to taunt poor, sick Dib a little bit by lifting up his contact lens when only Dib is watching. Evil Zim.
It's from Dib's POV, but I took artistic licence by removing all the other kids that would've been in the way. 
I just HAD to draw this scene...I had to or I would explode. (It happens to me sometimes...) ^^ I know I didn't get the angle of the contact lens quite right, but my drama teacher (who's art is INCREDIBLE! o.o) showed me how to do it so that it would at least look semi-decent. Thankies to her.This was originally sketched out, scanned, and coloured in PAINT. Yesss....THAT Microsoft Paint. Please go easy on me.

MSPaint I find still works better than the GIMP with some things. X3 That's the really scary thing.
OOOH! I was re-reading the summary thing for the picture of Dib that you drew, and you said how saving it as a PNG merges the layers? Well, I was wondering if maybe you could help meee...what can you save it as so that it doesn't merge the layers? I know a GIF, but then the colours are all yucky.

Well... I use Paint Shop Pro, so I save it as a .pspimage. So... there must be a .gimp image for you or something. I can't tell ya, sorry. I don't have gimp.

I like this! Really good approximation of the skool walls and floor. The colors and the grime along the walls and in all the corners are just great!
Removing all the other kids between Dib and Zim was a really good idea; they would have cluttered up the picture too much, and Dib watches Zim so closely for clues to his next evil plan he probably notices little else anyway!
If this is from Dib's point of view, he would have to have his head down on his desk (which he probably does, being sick and all) to see Zim's desk like that... I mean here he sees only the side and none of the top. If Dib was sitting upright he'd be able to see at least some of the top of the desk. (I heard this sort of thing from my layout supervisor so many times... )
