Description Yeah, ah' had this sketch up before...these two were the only ones I was decently pleased with, though. So I coloured them.

(points to background) Doesn't everyone just love my lazyness?

(is still trying to figure out how the layers work...)

Oh i just read all that stuff about layers AAAAND:

I've gotten the hang of it (on Photoshop anyway) Like ...5 months ago.

:3

Do you even know how to make layers?

TRUST ME, they're helpful.

Nailbunny's in "my style" (translation: I was too lazy to go find a referance ). So, yeh, I probably screwed up a little. XD Thanks so much, though!

I saw a tutorial-thing for the GIMP, and I think I'm getting better. I learned how to leave the lowest layer transparent so that I can add a background without changing the foreground picture, but now I'm struggling with the transparancy of the tools. :/ I'm learning, though. It's a trial-and-error kind of experience. Layers are pretty helpful.

AND VORTEX HELPED ME TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO SAVE THE SEPARATE LAYERS! No more doing everything in one sitting!

Really? What's it do? o.o I know what icon it is, but I've never used it and I have no clue what it does.

It's A Wonderful thing which lets you pick out the parts you WANT to do stuff with and leave the rest untouched *like instead of making a new layer and going over your picture, the wand will select everything of the colour you 'pick' at. So you can make a backround on the same layer as you original picture, which saves a lot of file space.*

Ok, I'm Done Nerd-ing

Wah.

How do you use the path tool.....?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Crystal-Mew In reply to obey-the-fist [2005-12-26 16:56:38 +0000 UTC]

Ya click it once where the start of the line goes, then once where the end goes. Then you warp it (there's a button that says "edit path" on mine) until it fits what line you're doing. ^__^ See? NOW YOU KNOW WHY I'M SO EXCITED! IT'S SO MUCH EASIER THAN DRAWING LINES WITH THE MOUSE!

Your styled Nny looks just downright awesome.

Layers are confuzzling, yes, but oh so helpful.

On the GIMP?

Yarsh. ._.;; The evil GIMP. I swear it hates me. It just seems to do everything it can to frustrate me. And my computer, too. They're ganging up on me. D:

Thankies!

SOOOOOOOOO (are you tired of hearing this yet? XD) CUTE!

Great Job on Nny. You seem to have talent in drawing him in different styles. That was a compliment by the way...

I haven't found the purpose for layers yet.

Thank you so much! ^_____^

I use layers if I know I'm going to screw up on something and I don't wanna mess up anything else. But that's about all. Ooh, and I recently discovered how to use them to make GRADIENT FILL BACKGROUNDS! >0

....I have issues with the gradient fill. I'm okay.

YAY! Thank you! ^_^

I think Johnny should listen to Nailbunny more often... :/ Nailbunny is the only one that actually tries to help him. The poor bunny... D: Up against all the other voices...
