I know that it took me a while to post, but I finally managed to finish this pic c: Here is my completed pic of my OC Songbird, a Predacon OC that is currently starring in a fanfic that I am writing over at FF.net. titled 'Not Alone' I'll provide a link to the fic if anyone is interested. Anyway, I won't post her entire bio since I don't want to give any spoilers to the story I'm writing, but the bulk of her bio is below:

Designation: Songbird
Nicknames: Lady Songbird, Lady of the Storms, or just Song... honestly she prefers Song.
Age: Same as Predaking
Faction: Predacon
Beast Form: Gryphon
Position: She is considered to be a Mystic or a Shaman due to her unusual 'mythical' skills.
Background: Songbird was created and activated alongside of Predaking however she was brought online with a fatal flaw, her spark was incredibly weak and Shockwave even pointed out that she was not likely to live past her first mission. When the two Predacons were sent off to hunt Wheeljack this prediction seemed to come true as Songbird apparently perished before even reaching her target.
Her story did not end there however as through some unclear events, Songbird was revived but her resurrection came at a price and she lost all of her memories up to that point. (What few she had anyway...) Her color scheme, while previously black and gold suddenly changed to black and blue and her ability to breathe fire somehow mutated into her ability to breathe and control lightning. With no one controlling her, Songbird went off on her own and ended up settling in a secluded area of Alaska, having found an energon vein and a massive cavern to live in. It was one fateful winter night that the Gryphonformer was wandering through her territory when she happened across a young human child merely seven years old and she was carrying her baby sister who was only three months old at the time. The girl was running for her life and had no choice but to take her baby half-sister with her... both were nearly frozen to death in the harsh landscape. Originally just taking pity on the two, Songbird saved their lives and took them back to her cave with her. But over time she grew to genuinely care for the two and renamed them Freefall (The eldest) and Moonrise (The younger) and adopted them as her own sparklings. Freefall being just a little girl when she first encountered the gryphon called her Songbird out of misconception, but the name just ended up sticking.
After five years of living with her daughters in their own little world, Songbird would eventually be located by the Decepticons and with a lot of convincing... and by convincing it means Starscream blew up her cave to get at the energon within it... Predaking manages to persuade Song to come back with him to the Nemesis, where chaos proceeds to follow...
I would write more for her background, but I don't want to give away the entire plot of my fanfic so I'm going to leave this as is until the story is done... sorry

<Relationships: I'm only going to list a few here...

Freefall and Moonrise- Songbirds adopted daughters; Songbird deeply loves her children and would go to any lengths to protect them. Due to the way that they were raised the two children in turn love Song as though she was their real mother and both want her to be happy. Moonrise especially has a few schemes in the works to try and help Predaking win her mothers spark.
Predaking- Originally Songbird disliked him, but over time their relationship improves to a friendly one... and even further down the line their friendship continues to evolve into love.
Orb Weaver- The small teenage techno-organic femme is a bit of a hazard to most of the individuals she meets and Songbird takes it upon herself to watch out for her. Orb Weaver eventually looks up to Songbird as a mother-figure and protector. (Orb Weaver is another of my OC's who I will post pics and the bio of when I finish one for her.)
Yue- The being known as Yue is one of Songbirds closest friends and Song greatly respects her. Although exactly who or what she is remains a mystery, Songbird has mentioned that she has something to do with her resurrection and her mutated powers. It is stated that when the 'Holy Predacon Mark' appears around Songbirds regular Predacon mark, Yue is calling for her.

Abilities:
Brute Strength- Songbird is a Predacon and therefore she is physically extremely strong and capable of both dealing and taking an incredible amount of damage.
Lightning- Whereas normal Predacons are capable of breathing fire, Songbird's breath weapon is actually blue lightning. She not only breathes lightning but she can also use her wings as lightning rods to draw in lightning from storms and use it to increase the power of her lightning breath.
Siren Voice- Song has a beautiful singing voice and enjoys singing for her adopted daughters, the Vehicons, Predaking, anybody who wants to hear her sing only needs to ask.
Fortunetelling- Songbird has an unusual skill amongst both regular Cybertronians and Predacons, that being her skill at reading a deck of Tarot Cards that she crafted by herself. Her predictions are almost always accurate and she also has the ability to look into the future in order to foresee any type of trouble or change that may be on the horizon.
Healing Powers- Another of Songbirds bizarre abilities is her unusual talent to heal herself and others. She can use this power to cause broken or damaged limbs to regenerate. Although this power has a limit and it is best left to minor injuries. However whenever she uses this particular trait a crescent moon and wing designs appear around her Predacon mark.
