Ok this pic needs a little explanation; first of all I have always had a soft spot in my heart for Beast Wars as it was the fist Transformers series I ever watched as a kid and one of my all time favorite characters was Rampage. Even though the guy was pretty much a walking nightmare, he had a few very powerful moments in the episode 'Transmutate' in which actually showed him befriending and protecting a severely handicapped creature Transmutate. This episode painted him in a far more sympathetic way and showed that he did have some redeeming qualities.So in the fanfic that I'm writing, which is the sequel to my previous fanfic 'Not Alone' I turned him into a Predacon and he is going to be living on the Predacons new planet Diuturnus. Just like in Beast Wars he is a mutant and pretty much a walking engine of destruction and has a disturbing taste for cannibalism. It isn't to surprising that Rampage and Predaking despise one another. Rampage doesn't take orders very well and Predaking greatly resents Rampages lack of respect. They have clashed on multiple occasions and Predaking has even tried to kill the mutation on several occasions... unsuccessfully. Eventually the two reached an arrangement where Predaking puts Rampage's destructive nature to good use and he becomes the kings head of torture. He deals with anyone who commits crimes of such magnitude that they were damned to his domain and are usually eaten afterwards...
The only things that really keep Rampage's murderous tendencies in check are his mate Transmutate; (Yes I've turned her into a Predacon as well but her pics just aren't ready yet) and their daughter Onyxclaw (And I haven't gotten to drawing her yet either) it's pretty entertaining, especially since Onyx is very fond of Scythe Predakings son.
I actually have his robot form drawn but I still need to color it

I find Rampage a very cool character. I mostly like his wings the most, but I find that the wing that is on his right shoulder, is going behind his body.
Shouldn't that be in front of the body, and not behind it?

I was totally psyched when he showed up in your FF, his personality and characteristics work perfect as a predacon!
Gosh, this design you've created for him is just gorgeous too! I love the way you've incoorporated all of his details into a dragon-y design, but he still looks very monstrous and different.
Funny, most of the times when so many different colours are combined they look way out of wack, but you've somehow managed to pull them all together and make it look perfect! I especially love how coordinated the colours on his arms are!
I've got a super soft spot for Beast Wars too, so it's really exciting to see writers like you including old characters in fanfics based on a new series!
I can't wait to see more of him- both on here and in your FF!

Oh my god he was a royal pain in the butt to design since I originally tried to show more of a crab in his design... which turned into an EPIC fail
Oh yes I loved Beast Wars and I was really hoping to incorporate a few more of its characters in particular Terrorsaur, Depthcharge and maybe the universes number one punching bag Waspinator

So far I know for sure that Terrorsaur is definitely going to be a Predacon, a joke from Orb Weaver that went horribly horribly wrong. She spliced a little bit of Knockout into the genes of a Wyvern Predacon and ultimately Terrorsaur was the result. So Knockout gains an equally vain half-brother of sorts... they don't much like each other
Depthcharge is probably going to be a standard Cybertronian but is going to end up pissing off Rampage, I haven't exactly finalized what I'm going to do with him on the other hand

When I was reading the epilogue of "Not Alone", I was immediately amused Rampage taking a liking to Transmutate but they are both complete opposite. When she licked his face, I was like "AWWWWW, I ship them"

And yes I thought about the crab/dragon thing but I couldn't really make it look right no matter how many times I re-drew him so I settled with making him one seriously big and nasty fragger with kinda mutant wings that have some of the crab-legs aspects to them. So this is just how he turned out
Oh yes, I wrote one fanfic called Not Alone and Rampage and Transmutate did make an appearance in the last chapter since I was setting it up for the sequel. The sequel won't get written for a while since I have another fanfic for Transformers Animated currently in the works, but it would pick up in an interesting way where my other story left off.

Well, at least you tried coming up with something at first. I'll admit, a Crab-Dragon isn't exactly an easy thing to come up with design-wise. It still turned out magnificent nonetheless!
