Sometimes I wonder if Misty at the gym ever sits down and wishes she could be traveling with Ash, seeing new towns, meeting new people and meeting new Pokemon.Despite me missing Misty, I can't deny that the show has gotten better through the years.

If she did you think she would make an effort to visit him when he comes home or something, but she doesn't do that anymore. She didn't even see him when he came home from Sinnoh, or the Battle Frontier before that.
Or visit during the actual journey. She didn't appear in Sinnoh, and with Best Wishes wrapping up in a few months, she's probably not going to appear in this one either.

The show started to slowly but surely go downhill for me when Misty left as a main character.
