Description
Reds are possibly the most 'common' of Great Dragons out there, if such a thing is possible. Knowng than most people won't ever see one in their whole lifetime, that should give a perspective on how uncommon an occurrence Dragons are. Reds, or blue-crested dragons, are also the most social among dragons, usually living in groups of 3-4 individuals. Great flyiers, reds patrol their vats forestal and montainous territories from the clouds, keen eyes scanning the land for prey or intruders.

As their names imply, these dragons have startling dry-blood red scales, with two big blue horns on their heads. Said horns are bigger and more prominent in males, though females are larger in size. Row of spike-like fins run along their back to the tip of their tail, adorned with a blade-like fin able to cut through flesh, though it's rarely used. Agile both in the air and on land, these dragons are top predators in temperate forests

Reds settle in forest clearings, turning them into dens from which they can easily leap back into the air. They then bring back any prey they might capture to the den, or actively chase them towards it before finishing them.

As all Dragons, Reds have the ability to spew fire from their stomachs, releasing the inferno of flames from their maws. They can concentrate this breath weapon into blasts very much rensembling fireballs, which will explode on contact with a surface, and have been observed diving down from the sky spewing a lot of these blasts on a single target, obliterating it.

Another trait of Dragons, reds are sapient and intelligent, and able to understand and communicate with nearly every other creature.
