Description
Depth Goblins are the lackeys of the Great Maw, loyal servants of the tyrant. These medium-little sized creatures lived in all the different habitats offered by their home cave, and lived on hunting and taming other beasts. They knew little of the surface world, but they had contacts with other races, mostly other Goblins or other cave inhabitants, and they quickly enslaved them. Before the coming of Terrondhos, they worshipper a hungry, armored diety they called the Great Maw. When Terrondhos came, thay saw him as the god himself, and were quick to start worshipping him. They have adapted to the different habitats of the cavern they live in, and most tribes had few contacts with the other, but now they know each-other very well, and they work together for the glory of theyr master.Their species are:
Jungle Goblin
Height: 1.60 m
Little but quick, jungle goblins are skilled assassins and saboteurs. They're often armed with daggers and poisoned grenades, and they have unmatchable skills in hiding, so much they're sometimes literally invisible. The ability Jungle Cloak their master provided them with makes them totally invisible, and this, combined with their silent techniques, makes them even more deadly;
Cave Goblin
Height: 1.60 m
Strong and determined, these are the base infantry of the Great Maw's armies. They wear leather and iron armors, and are skilled with nearly any weapon they can get their hands on, except the heaviest. Though militars, they're very chaotic and fights are common among them, even if in front of their master they always act diligently. The Wall-Crawl ability the GM gave them makes them able to pass fortresses's walls and explore most of their surroundings to slaughter any threat;
Lava Goblin
Height: 1.60 m
Keen-eyed and lethal, these red goblins are skilled archers, used to hunt in the boiling craters of active volcanoes. They're naturally fire-resistant, and have a high body temperature that causes severe burns to who touches them. GM gifted them with the Ignition ability: they can set ablaze what they touch, and, if they overcharge, the object will explode in flames. Both works for the arrows they use, making them burn things or explode on contact;
Pit Goblin
Height: 1.70 m
Tall and imposing, the black ones are the strongest of the goblins, and they form the heavy infantry, carrying two-handed swords, maces, and big axes. They're stricktly militaristic and well-trained soldiers, and they do not tolerate any insubordination. Their strenght is great and combined with the Shapeshift ability, that allows them to change their bodies into new, brutal forms does help their army quite a lot;
Wave Goblin
Height: 1.60
Expert mages and sorcerers, since young these acquatic Goblins tatoo their skin with magic-embedding and resistance runes, allowing them to cast spells, mostly water-related, with disturbing ease. The most intelligent among Goblins, they're commanders among the others, and are also the ones that causes most chaos among the enemies. The ability Call of War allows them to make dead DG around them to manifest in undead forms and continue their battles;
Cliff Goblin
Height: 1.60
Wingspan: 2.50
The only winged goblins, they glide across the battlefield raining lances and magic grenades on the enemies. Flight makes them able to reach places otherwise unreachable by other Goblins, and the Storm ability makes them able to release thunderbolts from the tips of their wings;

*rubs hands together* They shall serve Terron very well me thinks.
All and all I love the way you made the rather laughable Minions into a rolling wave of death that all should fear! Just plain awesome, my friend!

Hey, would you see more fitting that each of the Rosdon (Lay included) comes from one of these breeds, and is the correspondant general? Or should they be something by themselves?

I;m thinking thy should stay elevated undead. The goblin angle kinda takes away the mystery and cloke/dagger bit you sold them as already. You know...it's kinda like taking the Wring Wraiths and making them orc generals.

It was a neat idea...but perhaps not right for this group of world ending crazies. There will always be another one.
