She's too pretty here, and her eyes aren't wonky enough... But I always think of Merope in that Tim Burton Corpse Bridey style...This is the scene in Half-Blood Prince where Merope is trying to sell Slytherin's Locket...

Poor Merope must be freezing to be dressed so scantily in London in December.
I'm surprised at how she's managed to keep that long hair so clean, though.

I'd figure she was, and not so much scantily as shoddily. I doubt she had more than rags, otherwise she wouldn't resort to selling that locket! And you can finger comb very thin hair, so when it gets dirty it just lays there flat and floppy. But of course, I overdid the stylized thing, since I'm not very good at drawing Tim Burton style. c:

I thought at first that her belly was swollen from hunger, but now I realize that she's pregnant with Voldemort/Tom. Silly me.
But anyway, I really like her in the Tim Burton style. The original HBP said that Merope "was no beauty," but this portrayal of her sure is! :-D
