Finally and JUST under the wire! Here is my entry for the Code Geass Revival Contest here on DA!

I really enjoyed the show back when it was on Adult Swim/Cartoon Network, and I'm really jazzed to see a movie coming out for it! Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be showing anywhere near my location. lol

I really put my all into this and actually had to not add a few things I had sketched. Just not enough room and would've thrown off the balance. So, based on the supplied trailer, I figure that the lady has some HIGH position, and the boy with the visor seems to be a pilot. And Nunally has apparently been kidnapped so she's being held above those two headshots. On the other side, you have C2, Suzaku and Lelouch, back as Zero.

It's hard to know from the trailer, but if the lady is the top villain, or pretty close, I'm guessing she's a leader of SOMETHING in the new movie. So I have her squaring off against Lelouch with a chessboard between them to re-illustrate the metaphor made in the original anime. I'm almost positive that theme will be in the movie. Above each person I put as leader, you've got the kid pilot on the left, who in the subtitles of the provided trailer wants to "best" Zero. Suzaku has also worn the mask of Zero, so they seem to share that tie. Above, Nunally is captured, and I guess by the lady and the kid-pilot so she's up there. The Yellow color puzzles me a bit, but I figured I'd use that same color scheme as it MUST have SOME importance! C2, the only one who can revive Lelouch, she has been his ally and accomplice since the beginning of the series when she gave him his power. She is always looking out for him in a support-role, so she is watching his back here.

The symbol between Nunally and C2 is what, if I recall correctly, is the symbol of the Geass Order. Both characters have ties and have been profoundly affected by the power of Geass.

And in the background, Lelouch's eye, it's Geass activating to once again, change the world.

I had a LOT of fun creating this entry piece, and while CLAMP's stylized and complicated designs were very tricky to try and emulate, it was still a good challenge! Good luck to all entries in the contest! After the contest is over, I might upload some of the "pieces" for this entry.
