The concept is based heavily based on the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella mixing elements of both the Cartoon and Live Action. Since the fandom tends to label Yu as the Fairy Godmother/Therapist I thought it would fit

Yu being non-magical obviously can’t accumulate blot so instead blot is forced into him. The Phantom doesn’t resemble anyone, but is a monster made entirely of blot and attacks mostly physical. The blot pools around Yu feet and can summon tendrils to attack. Think Queen Ravenna from Snow White and the Huntsmen

Since Yu is labeled as the Beastmaster is able to bring out smaller creatures from the pool of blot. Maybe even recreate the Blot forms of the Others to fight for him

Representing the Fairy Godmother to assist and help the students. Being corrupted by Blot has made Yu act more cruelly while seemingly calm and smug on the outside. In Yu’s mind they are drowning in despair and have let go of holding back their grievances. Referencing the Enchantress from Beauty and the Beast Overblot!Yu comments on the wickedness of the others a lot in their twisted mind giving them a good reason to attack and kill their friends

At some point Blot is forced into Yu and the blot being a a corrupting force from different overblot victims causes the victims to manifest inside of Yu. The anger, rage, despair, basically all negative emotions all come out and intensify inside him. Yu’s mental state becomes chaotic. The hole in Yu’s chest is where the injection happened.

The Blot picks out what makes Yu feel such negative emotions such as picking on his fear of abandonment, his feelings of distrust towards his “friends”, his frustrations with NRC as a whole making them stronger.

With no magic the phantom doesn’t have magic to draw on, so it takes from something else. It slowly drains his lifeforce so a non-Magical person overblotting can be more fatal than someone with magic. If ever broken free from the overblot the victim goes into a comatose state for a certain amount of time. The chaos that is inflicted on the victim’s mental state still remains and the victims have to fight through it.
