"It's dangerous to go alone! Take this!"The iconic Sword from the first Legend of Zelda on the NES, in pixel style! I'm sure this doesn't need any saying, but anyone who ever played that timeless classic will remember that Old Man in the first cave at the very start of the game and giving you the sword to defend yourself!
The blade appears again in LOZ: Breath of the Wild. However, it is an Amiibo-exclusive weapon, only obtained, fittingly, with the 8-Bit Link Amiibo.
*EDIT* The design for it is based on the original artwork of the first Legend of Zelda game, with this picture as an example.... well, mostly for the blade and guard, but not the hilt or pommel.

*EDIT 6/11/23* The blade appears again in 'LOZ: Tears of the Kingdom, that it is not just an Amiibo weapon and is rechristened the 'Sword of the Hero'. One is found in the Depths of Hyrule, at a giant tree hollow in Dalite Grove. After the initial weapon is obtained, one more can be purchased from the Poe Bargainer statue under the Great Abandoned Central Mine for 100 Poes, provided one has cleared the sidequest relating to the statue.
