Description
CrystalPhoenixBlader here, once again bringing another chapter to the fanfic! With Blargg out of the way, the party at Floral Field Forest should take a nicer route. ..Or not? While the group was occupied with the lava creatures, the vengeful Kamek had seized his opportunity to petrify and kidnap Chief Yoshi and Kotori! Will the team learn of the news in time? Find out!
Alright, disclaimer time: I do not own any of the Mario characters or the iDOLMASTER characters; the Mario characters belong to Nintendo and the iDOLMASTER characters belong to Namco Bandai. In addition, the characters “Reiji Arisu” and “Xiaomu” belong to Namco Bandai and Monolift Soft. In addition, the character “Boshi” belongs to Nintendo and Square Enix. So, with that out of the way, lets go backinto the spring breeze!

Chapter 55
Beware of Bowser! Chief Yoshi and Yukiho Cornered!!
*Yoshi’s Island ~ Floral Field Forest*
*Insert Theme:
With the incident in Blargg’s Boiler in the past, the party safely resume, though for some strange reason, both Chief Yoshi and Kotori were absent. Nonetheless, the party went on in a mellow pace upon the next mini game, “Xylophone Home” For this, Iori, Yukiho, Luigi, and Yoshi were to use three key xylophones to keep to the beat of the Mario Bros. thme. The battle seemed evenly matched for all four participants, especially since the mood was rather gentle compared to the heated experience back at Blargg’s Boiler. However, due to being fully familiar to the theme, Luigi won, with Yoshi a close second.
DK was watching things for a moment when a felt a small rumble for a moment. “Huh? ...Oh, that must be my new Mobile Phone... hang on a minute.” Within moments the necktie wearing ape opened a line on his barrel print phone and answered. “Donkey Kong here, ooh ooh!”
“DK! Glad to hear from you!” A familiar voice to D.K., which could only belong to his little buddy Diddy Kong, answered the phone. D.K., delighted to hear Diddy’s voice, gleefully answered. “Hey ther, little buddy! How are things on your end?”

*Donkey Kong Island ~Near D.K.’s Treehouse*
*Insert Theme: “DK Isle” (Donkey Kong 64)*
The answer came from a chimpanzee wearing a red sleeveless shirt and a red cap showing the logo of Nintendo on the front, but what was most notable of the small ape was his long prehensile tail.
“As a matter of fact, we’re just nearly done! All we have to do for our part in the party you and Mario are hosting is to get Funky’s rides all set up and Candy’s instrument stand in good shape. Dixie and Tiny are eager to meet the Idols we kept hearing about even here! ..Though Bluster... yeah, he’s been a pain as always... and Cranky’s been crabbing as usual, saying how he would’ve gotten this done and over with before this current arc of this fanfic got started!” Diddy Kong gave the short end of the full explanation to his big pal. (Uh, would you mind not breaking the fourth wall, Diddy? There have been much of these happening before!)
“Yo Diddy dude! How are things on D.K.’s end? By my guess, pretty mondo cool, I bet!” Funky Kong, a member of the Kongs wearing a pair of sunglasses which completely conceal his eyes, wearing a red bandana with white polka dots on his head, awhite undershirt, bright golden medals on his neck (‘bling’, for those who love hip hop), and light blue swim trunks with a black leather belt, walked onto the scene as he was hoisting barrels of goods needed for the Kongs’ part in the Dimension Comet Party with effortless ease.
“Yep, Donkey’s got things under control! In fact, he had to help Mario and the Idols rescue some Yoshi kids earlier!” Diddy turned to his surfer pal, who smiled happily. “Wow, looks like the karmic tide is riding well in da girls’ favor on the cosmic stream as well as our main man in red, Mario!”

Just then, Squawks, a friendly parrot who is a reliable ally of the Kongs flew to alert the two Kongs, but may have come a little late as a small explosion followed by a pained scream echoed.
“Uh... Funky... was that?..” Diddy turned his head to the smoke that billowed in the tropical trees, which Funky got the full idea of what happened. “Aw, man... fifth time this day! Man, that Bluster’s trying to fiddle around with my gear worse than a bad wave!” the funky ape frowned, to which Diddy removed his hat a bit and scratched his head. “Hoo boy, Cranky’s gonna give him an earful for that... Just because D.K.’s not here doesn’t mean he can try being a big shot!”
“Diddy, everything okay on your end?” D.K. asked on his end of the Mobile phone, to which the lovable chimp smiled. “Just a little mess up. You just worry about things on your end alright?”
*Yoshi’s Island ~ Floral Field Forest*
“Alright then. Be careful, little buddy! And good luck!” D.K. smiled before ending his line and putting the mobile phone away. The large ape crossed his arms as Ritsuko and Ryou take their turns.
Just then, when it came to Iori’s turn, as if misfortune was following her like a smelly blanket, she ended up landing on the Green ‘?’ Space!
“Kiiiii! I'm getting tired of landing on these! What happens now?!” The poor rich girl yelped in annoyance.
Just then, a Spear Guy, a type of Shy Guy who is proficient with a spear, peeked out from behind a bush and sees a beehive above Iori. Having careful aim, the Spear Guy hurled his spear at the hive, knocking it near the rich girl! The swarm of bees that came out of the damaged beehive formed an angry face and started to swarm towards Iori!
*Insert Theme: “Panic!” (Mario Party 3)*
“KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” Iori froze before moving her legs in midair, turned around, and fled for her life! Mario, who was a few spaces ahead of Luigi and Ryou, heard the tsundere’s voice. “Iori?” As the red plumber turned around, he saw he Idol running away from the bees... right towards him! “Oh no! AYIYIYIYIYAAAA!”
Luigi turned around as saw the chase heading toward him and screamed as his eyes bulged and his body turned around to get away! “AWAWAWAWAWAWAWA!”
“Uwaaahhh!!!” Ryou had caught sight of the trio who are running away from the bees and started to turntail as well. The four panicking participants kept running until they had reaching the starting space, at which for some reason, the bees lost interest and flew away.
“How did those bees get angry?!” Ryou asked as hshe went to catch her breath, to which Mario had only one guess. “Meh, I think Iori's da one who made da boo-boo.”
“N-No I didn't! All I did was land on a Green Question Mark Space!” Iori waved her hands in defense and tried to disagree, which did not impress the Mario Bros. as they placed their gloved hands on their faces.
“Huhhhhhh... I can't stand the sub-normal intelligence of tsunderes..."” Benjamin, who saw the whole ruckus, frowned as he pressed both of his plams on his face.
*Insert Jingle: “Fail Horn” (The Price is Right)*

D.K. watched the hilarious incident with a smile on his face, but then noticed that the scenario is a little quieter... Reiji, who was keeping watch as he was cleaning up his weapons, began to notice too.
“You know D.K., I’m beginning to notice that we haven’t seen Chief Yoshi or Kotori ever since the incident earlier...” The zebra haired agent asked in curiosity, grabbing the attention of Mario and Producer-san as well. Unknown to either of them, the two were being carried off to Bowser’s rebuilt castle...
*Yoshi’s Island ~ Bowser’s Rebuilt Castle ~ Throne Room Door*
*Insert Theme: “The Blue Wizard” (Paper Mario: Sticker Star)*
With the petrified Chief Yoshi and Kotori braced with chains, Kammy and Kamek now stand in front of the door to the rebuilt throne room.
“What if His Greatness doesn't remember him, Kamek? What then?” Kammy asked her son in concern, to which the blue Magikoopa responded with a determined look on his face. “Then I'll have to make remember from what I remember, Mother. I've been demanding this defiant Yoshi and his friends on many occasions to hand over Mario up until they cornered me in the King's playroom. I may shed some light on the fog in his mind. Let's go inside.”
On the other side, Bowser was snoring peacefully on his throne with a snot bubble visible on his nostril, with Bowser Jr. sleeping peacefully on his father’s lap, with a snot bubble of his own. However, within moments, the Magikoopas slide open the door, a bit too loudly as the sound woke the Koopa King and Prince.
“Your Greatness, we've returned--!” Kamek cheerfully started, but then a startled Bowser Jr. threw a fireball straight at the Koopa mages!
*End theme, Insert Theme: “To Our Surprise” (Kingdom Hearts)*
“GYAAAAH!” Kammy and Kamek scream as they dodge the attack, but as the blue wizard was about to get himself up, an irate Bowser Jr. jumps above him and smashes him with a Ground Pound!

(Bowser Jr.) “I AM... *THONK!*”
(Kamek) “Gyah!”
(Bowser Jr.) ““... TRYING... *DONK!*”
(Kamek) “Gwergh!!”
(Bowser Jr.) “TO SLEEP!!! *BOOOOOM!!*”
(Kamek) “GYAAAAAaaaaaa-owwww...!!!”
“OH, MY BOY!!!” Kammy screamed as Bowser Jr. kicked aside Kamek’s flattened body, which got him to groan. “... Ju... Just that fateful cruel daaaaayyyyy...” After that, the flattened mage reinflated himself and rubbed his forehead as he began to see stars. “Ooooooogh...”

“Wow... nice one, Junior.” Bowser was impressed of his son’s reaction before angrily turning to the mages. “Kamek! Kammy! You two better have a good excuse for waking me and Junior during our royal evil nap!”
“Yeah! Why did you wake me up, you old fools?!” Bowser Jr. yelled, equally as ticked off, to which Kamek shook off his dizziness from his head and explained. “Hooh! My king and prince... mostly to you, my king, there is someone I wish you to see that you haven't seen in a long time.”
“Nnmmuh?!” Bowser gave a confusing response as Kammy did the honors of calling in the Toadies to bring the petrified chief and attendant.
“Kamek... you must have lost some of your important intelligence while you were snooping like I ordered you to. HOW in the world does STATUES of a human woman and... AN OBESE EGG-LAYING LIZARD WITH A HEADBAND are supposed to be SOMEONE I HAVEN'T SEEN IN A LONG TIME?!?!?!” Bowser gave an unimpressed statement with an upset tone, enough to make Kammy give one remark to her son. “... He doesn't remember, Kamek.”
“What did you just mutter, you old hag?!” Bowser growled at the Magikoopa matriarch, which was enough to mute her while making her sweat bullets..
Bowser Jr. looked at the Magikoopa mage and frowned. “Did you replace your brain with a rock, Kamek? Why would you do something so lame?!”
Kamek, deciding to keep a calm head, had begun to explain. “Ahem! Young Master, if your belittling me is supposed to chap my shell more than that pounding from earlier, I’ll tell you a story about your father back when he was your size...” Soon after the blue Magikoopa said that, his tone turned with malicious anger boiling upwards. “..About when he knew Mario and Luigi for the first time...”
*End Theme*
*ONE HOUR LATER...*
An hour has passed as Kamek fully explained every detail of the events on Yoshi’s Island years ago to the royal Koopas, which had left them royally speechless!
“... These major blunders broke everything I had. My mind, my heart, my pride, my confidence and MY RESPECT! All I have done has been chewed up and spitted out right on my face because of Yoshi's father here and his friends. They were responsible for where we all are now!!!” Kamek cried out, finishing his explanation in a stressful manner, as he was catching his breath. Kammy ran to her exasperated son and rubbed his shoulder. “Kamek, that's enough. They seem to get the truth now.”
*Insert Theme: “Madness” (Sonic Adventure 2)*
“I-I can't believe that happened to my poor daddy! You gettin' all this, Papa?” Bowser Jr., completely shocked of what he heard turned to his father, who twitched with his jaw dropped to the ground but didn’t say a word. “P-Papa?”
“Grgh...! ... ...!!!” Bowser growled as a rush of memories began to echo in his mind as he began to twitch violently and rapidly, certain to the Magikoopa son and mother that their King’s top will explode any minute!
*End Theme*
Somehow, through a small chance of luck for the Magikoopas, the enraged Koopa King managed to calm down as he completely understood what Kamek meant. “I see now, Kamek... You had found an opportunity to exact revenge for me AND yourself. On the one who was responsible for all this misery, no less... How could I have forgotten all this...?”
“You were very young, Master. That happens in time. And I am gladdened you understand this.” Kamek sighed a breath of relief before turning to the petrified duo. “And I think you two have been like that for long enough. HERE!” With that, the blue wizard casted a countercurse, undoing the petrification.
*POOF!*
Kotori snaps out of her daze and looked frantically around the area she is in. “Eh- nani?! What's going on?! Where am I?! How did I get here?! Why am I in chains?! What am I-- KYAAAAAAAAA!!!!!” ..Of course, this was her first encounter with the dreaded Koopa King up close.
“Groughhh... My eyes...” Chief Yoshi has begun to snap back to reality, only to find himself chained up! “Huh- what the?!”
“Hyehehe! GEHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Long time no see, little Yoshi... Oh, I'm sorry- ‘Chief’ Yoshi.” The cackling voice that could only belong to Kamek, to which the chieftain easily recognized. “Huh? No...! It's you! KAMEK!”
“Hehe! Ahh, I am pleased you haven't forgotten me after all these years!” Kamek smiled to Chief Yoshi before changing his tone to an enraged maniac out for revenge. “I, on the other hand, never forgotten about you OR your insolent friends!” With that, the Magikoopa stomped towards the chief’s face. “On how you defied me! How you humiliated me!! How you harmed my lord and secured the two babies who were destined to ruin his great future and put all my efforts in preventing all that in vain!!!”
“Kamek, you—“ Chief started with a glare, but Kamek interrupted point blank on the chieftain. “NO!!!” Soon, the mage was weeping for a bit as he spoke. “Do you have a thought what misery and painful abuse I went through and the wounds I'm scarred with over the years?! The damages you've done to us all?! The betrayals and deaths of our many brethren?! NO!!! YOU DIDN'T!!!” Af if his anger has somehow snapped is sanity by a bit, Kamek cackled in broken laughter as he spoke again. “But... But now that here b-before us... kehehe... HehaHAHAHAHA...!!!”
“Get a hold of yourself, boy!!!” Kammy pleaded to her son, who seems to be losing his marbles. The reaction calmed the manic mage somewhat, as he one more time. “TODAY, WE CAN HAVE OUR REVENGE!!!”
“’We?’" Chief Yoshi asked in skepticism but then looked at the attendant, who is too busy shaking and whimpering to give comment. “Ms. Kotori? What's..“ The chief started before he ended up seeing Bowser sitting on his throne, snorting a breath of flame. “Sour cherry pits and Fuzzies, IS THAT YOU, BOWSER?! You're even bigger than the last I saw you!”
“Yep, that's my daddy, Fatty!” Bowser Jr. laughed, turning the chief’s attention to the mischievous runt. “He-- OH, YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!!!”
“Kehehe. Surprised, are you? He's just like his father in almost every way!” Kammy giggled to the chief, was got him to deadpan. “Now that's just what I'm worried about!”
Kotori turned to look at Bowser Jr. for a brief moment, and was somehow overwhelmed by the runt’s cuteness as she developed a nosebleed.
“Oh, great. Another one...!” Bowser frowned to himself, reminded of Takane’s nosebleed when the Idols first arrived.. before deciding to jump between the two, startling them!
“Yikes!!!” Chief Yoshi bounced backa bit while Kotori screamed. “KYAAAAAAAAAAAA!”
*Insert Jingle: “An Angry Bowser” (Mario Party 7)*
“WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT MY BOY FOR LIKE THAT, WOMAN!?!” Bowser roared at Kotori, scaring her. “Bwuuhhh...! Aaaahhhh...!”
Not wasting any time, Bowser went to grapple Chief Yoshi by the neck! “WAH!!!”
*Insert Theme: “Stop! Bowser Time!: (Mario party 7)*
“And YOU!!! After what Kamek told me, how could I have not known you were the start of ruining my life?! I always hated Mario and Luigi, most of all- MARIO! And if you didn't appear, I would have had EVERYTHING! Peach, the Mushroom Kingdom, the whole world! AND THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE ABOVE ALL THAT!!” Bowser roared furiously at the chief. Within moments, the veins in the Koopa King’s eyes appear as the creature has begun to tear up in rage and drooling with his teeth clenched tightly. “Everything would have been all mine if had not had two mustached nuisances jumping and throwing hammers and fireballs at me and my family plus a ugly moment of CHILD ABUSE at your hand I wish had forgotten!!! You have no idea of the number how many of my men died and the defeats I suffered! IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!! I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE YOU!!! YOU, YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY, THOSE TWO BROTHERS!!!” Ian an increased rage Bowser tightened his grip on the chief’s neck. “WORDS CAN NEVER EXPRESS MY HATE FOR ALL OF YOU! I WILL TURN YOU ALL TO NOTHING!!!”
“Errghg...!” Chief has begun to gag a bit as he tried to reach for Bowser’s hands. Kamek, finally having his revenge, had begun to laugh maniacally. “Hehehehehehahahahahahahahaha!” Kammy, however, felt a painful ringing in her ears. “I think all the king's shouting has made me deaf!”
*End Theme*
All of a sudden, Bowser, realizing something, let go of his grip on the chief and dropped him. “Wait... Perhaps it's too early to kill you.”
“M-MY KING?!” Kamek, shocked at his king’s reaction, shouted while Chief Yoshi caught his breath, yet stared at the king with a flabbergasted expression.
“I need to save my energy AND all my hatred for you until the moment is right... I wish to see Yoshi, Luigi AND Mario watch you perish before their very eyes before I move on to them.” Bowser’s gave a satisfactory reason before the chief. But just as he was about to say more, the Bowser Space light on the throne lighted up!
*Insert Jingle: “Bowser’s Message” (Super Mario 64) (Complete with Bowser’s laugh!)*
“Ooh! That's my cue!” Bowser perked up before pulling out a magic wand with a golden Bowser face on each end and a red orb in one mouth and a purple one in the other. “See you all soon! Bwa hahahahaha!” The Koopa King laughed before turning into smoke and hurried to the space in question.
“What just happened there?” Kotori asked in worry, to which Kamek gave the answer, plain and simple. “It's seems some unlucky player landed on his space.”
“His space?!” Chief Yoshi responded in shock, to which Kammy gave a curt smile as she summoned her broom to rest on. “Yes. I'd pity the poor misfortunate soul if they were an idol...”
Kotori gasped, worried that one of the Idols may have ended up in serious trouble, but Bowser Jr. decided to reassure the attendant. “Don't worry, Missus, they be fine!” ..”I think..”
*Yoshi’s Island ~ Floral Field Forest*
Moyoshi was walking around the area, looking for something... or a certain someone, or in this case, two people. The pink Yoshi’s worried face drew the attention of Haruka and Yayoi. “Moyoshi-sama! The ribboned Idol called out, Yayoi ran over to the Yoshi mother and looked at her fatigued face. “Moyoshi-sama? You look tired...”
“Hahh... Huhh... I having no luck. Ms. Kotori is not at the lake where I left her. And I can't find my husband there or anywhere in the village...” Moyoshi gasped with worry, enough to worry Producer-san, as weel as the Futami twins.
“What?!” Producer-san gapse din worry, whiel the twins look at Moyoshi with worried gazes. “Piyo-chan's gone?!”
“The Chief's not in the village?” Boshi called out, hearing the news after getting Liboshi home. Chihaya too had begun to wonder what happened to the both of them. “Wherever could they be? Are they somewhere else on the island?”
“My darling knows his way around the island a lot. It's impossible for that Yoshi to get lost here.” Moyoshi pointed out a fact of her husband to Chihaya, to which the veteran yellow Yoshi began to wonder. “Then where could—“
“KYAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” Yukiho screamed all of a sudden, startling Makoto all of a sudden. “Huwahh! YUKIHO?!” The reason she screamed? Yukiho began to feel really frightened.. is that SHE happened to have unfortunately landed on that dreaded Bowser Space! “Hwaaaaaaaaa...!!!”
*Insert Jingle: “Bowser’s Message” (Super Mario 64) (Complete with Bowser’s laugh! ..Again...)*
“Oh no! Yukiho's landed on the Bowser Space!” Daisy gasped in worry, making Moyoshi and the veterans stare at the Sarasa Land princess with dumbfounded looks on their faces. “The WHAT?!?!?!”
“NO!” Producer-san was beginning to get really for Yukiho, as well as Makoto. “EEEEHHHHHH?!”
Within moments, a mechanical platform appears next to Yukiho, scaring her. “KYAH!!”
Within moments, the capsule on the platform opens and slides down in a puff of dark magical smoke. The pyrotechnics flare all over, and from there, Bowser appears breathing fire into the air as he roars, scraing Yukiho even more. “KYAAAAA!!!”
*Insert Theme: “Bowser Stage” (Mario tennis)*
“GRAAAA HAHAHAHAHAAAA!!! Well, well, well! What have we here?! Someone seems to have landed on my BOWSER SPACE!” Bowser roared as he stood on the platform. Yukiho began to tremble and cry a bit in utmost fear. “Uuuuu... nnnnnh...!”
“Bowser...” Peach held her hand in worry, while Moyoshi stood bewildered. “Bowser?! Spiny Pineapples, he looks much larger last we saw him!” Makto, clearly worried for her friend as she gritted her teeth and prepared herself. “Yukiho...!”
Bowser looked downwards on whoever landed on his space, but when he saw Yukiho, he began to blush and clasp his hands together in a way that Cupid hit him with an arrow. “Awwww, if it isn't innocent little Yukiho! Aren't we both lucky!”
“Kyaahh!!!” Yukiho yelped while trying to cover herself, which made Bowser scratch his head for a bit. “Hnhnhn, yeah, I'm supposed to be scary.” With an evil grin and a gleam to his eye, Bowser spoke. “Well... let's see what Bowser's Wheels of Fate will bring you.”
Within moments, four large wheels, like those on Wheel of Fortune, only styled more in Bowser’s flavor, appear in a diamond formation, connected to a larger wheel. Within moments, Bowser spun the wheel, enough for Yukiho to tremble even more.. “Mmmph... Oh no..”
The first wheel spun endlessly until it stopped...
*Insert Sound Effects: “Microwave Ding” & “Bowser’s laugh”*
“HYAAAAAAA!!!” Yukiho leapt upwards, startled by the laugh. Bowser looked at the wheel and his eyes and smile widen. “OHHHH! A Bowser Mini-game! I love games! I love them even more when they're mine! Bwa hahahahahaaaa!”
“Mama mia, she's-a cornered!” Luigi panicked in worry, with Ritsuko fearing as well. “Yuki-chan!”
“Yukiho!!!” Makoto and Daisy shout for their friend as Bowser switched wheels and rotated them.
“Which are we gonna' play?! Which one?!” Bowser cheerfully spoke a she spun the wheel, leaving Yukiho to clench herself...
The seconding spun until it stop, by which the Koopa King took notice. “
*Insert Sound Effects: “Microwave Ding” & “Bowser’s laugh” (Again...)*
“Oh, yes! Looks like we're playing the new Mini-game, "Bowser's Puzzle Attack Panic!" But the third and final wheel will tell us what conditions will be for Winners and Losers!” Bowser smiled before letting the large wheel rotate one more time to reveal the third and final wheel. Without hesitation or relent, Bowser spun the last wheel. The wheel then spun and spun until it too had come to a halt. The outcome was not at all what all the Idols had in mind... “HUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHH?!” Yukiho, wishing that this mishap did Not have to have, clasped her hands around her mouth and gasped.
“Bwa hahahahahaaaaaaaa! Brilliant! 2nd and 3rd Losers each give the Winner 10 Coins, Last Place Losers give 20 Coins to ME! EXCELLENT!” Bowser was delighted at the results. Ritsuko was completely unimpressed at what she saw on the wheels. “Donkey Kong wasn't kidding when he said his space was the opposite of his... Bowser's got the worst outcomes...!”
Within moments, the wheel disappears. Bowser, eager to get the mini game up and ready, pulled out his wand as he announced to the group. “Now let's begin the fun, shall we?! HAHA!” Within moments, the Koopa King waved his magic and darkness had covered the area, transporting the participants elsewhere...
*End Theme*
Whew, what a chapter, turning dark for a moment! Bowser has readied a new mini game for the contestants and it’s already spelling nothing but bad news! Will their min ds stay intact when Bowser has the Coins? Find out!
You can pretty much guess that the next arc after this is at D.K. Island, Donkey Kong’s turf, if I included the likes of the lovable chimp Diddy Kong and the radical Funky Kong in the mix! Oh, and the name “Bluster” is Bluster Kong from the 3d animated cartoon version of “Donkey Kong Country”. ..I hope I got Funky’s Jamaican ccent right.. Mario’s Italian accent is one thing, but...

CrystalPhoenixBlader here, once again bringing another chapter to the fanfic! With Blargg out of the way, the party at Floral Field Forest should take a nicer route. ..Or not? While the group was occupied with the lava creatures, the vengeful Kamek had seized his opportunity to petrify and kidnap Chief Yoshi and Kotori! Will the team learn of the news in time? Find out!
Alright, disclaimer time: I do not own any of the Mario characters or the iDOLMASTER characters; the Mario characters belong to Nintendo and the iDOLMASTER characters belong to Namco Bandai. Beware of Bowser! Chief Yoshi and Yukiho Cornered!!
*Yoshi’s Island ~ Floral Field Forest*
*Insert Theme:
With the incident in Blargg’s Boiler in the past, the party safely resume, though for some strange reason, both Chief Yoshi and Kotori were absent. Nonetheless, the party went on in a mellow pace upon the next mini game, “Xylophone Home” For this, Iori, Yukiho, Luigi, and Yoshi were to use three key xylophones to keep to the beat of the Mario Bros. thme. The battle seemed evenly matched for all four participants, especially since the mood was rather gentle compared to the heated experience back at Blargg’s Boiler. However, due to being fully familiar to the theme, Luigi won, with Yoshi a close second.
DK was watching things for a moment when a felt a small rumble for a moment. “Huh? ...Oh, that must be my new Mobile Phone... hang on a minute.” Within moments the necktie wearing ape opened a line on his barrel print phone and answered. “Donkey Kong here, ooh ooh!”
“DK! Glad to hear from you!” A familiar voice to D.K., which could only belong to his little buddy Diddy Kong, answered the phone. D.K., delighted to hear Diddy’s voice, gleefully answered. “Hey ther, little buddy! How are things on your end?”

*Donkey Kong Island ~Near D.K.’s Treehouse*
*Insert Theme: “DK Isle” (Donkey Kong 64)*
The answer came from a chimpanzee wearing a red sleeveless shirt and a red cap showing the logo of Nintendo on the front, but what was most notable of the small ape was his long prehensile tail.
“As a matter of fact, we’re just nearly done! All we have to do for our part in the party you and Mario are hosting is to get Funky’s rides all set up and Candy’s instrument stand in good shape. Dixie and Tiny are eager to meet the Idols we kept hearing about even here! ..Though Bluster... yeah, he’s been a pain as always... and Cranky’s been crabbing as usual, saying how he would’ve gotten this done and over with before this current arc of this fanfic got started!” Diddy Kong gave the short end of the full explanation to his big pal. (Uh, would you mind not breaking the fourth wall, Diddy? There have been much of these happening before!)
“Yo Diddy dude! How are things on D.K.’s end? By my guess, pretty mondo cool, I bet!” Funky Kong, a member of the Kongs wearing a pair of sunglasses which completely conceal his eyes, wearing a red bandana with white polka dots on his head, awhite undershirt, bright golden medals on his neck (‘bling’, for those who love hip hop), and light blue swim trunks with a black leather belt, walked onto the scene as he was hoisting barrels of goods needed for the Kongs’ part in the Dimension Comet Party with effortless ease.
“Yep, Donkey’s got things under control! In fact, he had to help Mario and the Idols rescue some Yoshi kids earlier!” Diddy turned to his surfer pal, who smiled happily. “Wow, looks like the karmic tide is riding well in da girls’ favor on the cosmic stream as well as our main man in red, Mario!”

Just then, Squawks, a friendly parrot who is a reliable ally of the Kongs flew to alert the two Kongs, but may have come a little late as a small explosion followed by a pained scream echoed.
“Uh... Funky... was that?..” Diddy turned his head to the smoke that billowed in the tropical trees, which Funky got the full idea of what happened. “Aw, man... fifth time this day! Man, that Bluster’s trying to fiddle around with my gear worse than a bad wave!” the funky ape frowned, to which Diddy removed his hat a bit and scratched his head. “Hoo boy, Cranky’s gonna give him an earful for that... Just because D.K.’s not here doesn’t mean he can try being a big shot!”
“Diddy, everything okay on your end?” D.K. asked on his end of the Mobile phone, to which the lovable chimp smiled. “Just a little mess up. You just worry about things on your end alright?”
*Yoshi’s Island ~ Floral Field Forest*
“Alright then. Be careful, little buddy! And good luck!” D.K. smiled before ending his line and putting the mobile phone away. The large ape crossed his arms as Ritsuko and Ryou take their turns.
Just then, when it came to Iori’s turn, as if misfortune was following her like a smelly blanket, she ended up landing on the Green ‘?’ Space!
“Kiiiii! I'm getting tired of landing on these! What happens now?!” The poor rich girl yelped in annoyance.
Just then, a Spear Guy, a type of Shy Guy who is proficient with a spear, peeked out from behind a bush and sees a beehive above Iori. Having careful aim, the Spear Guy hurled his spear at the hive, knocking it near the rich girl! The swarm of bees that came out of the damaged beehive formed an angry face and started to swarm towards Iori!
*Insert Theme: “Panic!” (Mario Party 3)*
“KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” Iori froze before moving her legs in midair, turned around, and fled for her life! Mario, who was a few spaces ahead of Luigi and Ryou, heard the tsundere’s voice. “Iori?” As the red plumber turned around, he saw he Idol running away from the bees... right towards him! “Oh no! AYIYIYIYIYAAAA!”
Luigi turned around as saw the chase heading toward him and screamed as his eyes bulged and his body turned around to get away! “AWAWAWAWAWAWAWA!”
“Uwaaahhh!!!” Ryou had caught sight of the trio who are running away from the bees and started to turntail as well. The four panicking participants kept running until they had reaching the starting space, at which for some reason, the bees lost interest and flew away.
“How did those bees get angry?!” Ryou asked as hshe went to catch her breath, to which Mario had only one guess. “Meh, I think Iori's da one who made da boo-boo.”
“N-No I didn't! All I did was land on a Green Question Mark Space!” Iori waved her hands in defense and tried to disagree, which did not impress the Mario Bros. as they placed their gloved hands on their faces.
“Huhhhhhh... I can't stand the sub-normal intelligence of tsunderes..."” Benjamin, who saw the whole ruckus, frowned as he pressed both of his plams on his face.
*Insert Jingle: “Fail Horn” (The Price is Right)*

D.K. watched the hilarious incident with a smile on his face, but then noticed that the scenario is a little quieter... Reiji, who was keeping watch as he was cleaning up his weapons, began to notice too.
“You know D.K., I’m beginning to notice that we haven’t seen Chief Yoshi or Kotori ever since the incident earlier...” The zebra haired agent asked in curiosity, grabbing the attention of Mario and Producer-san as well. Unknown to either of them, the two were being carried off to Bowser’s rebuilt castle...
*Yoshi’s Island ~ Bowser’s Rebuilt Castle ~ Throne Room Door*
*Insert Theme: “The Blue Wizard” (Paper Mario: Sticker Star)*
With the petrified Chief Yoshi and Kotori braced with chains, Kammy and Kamek now stand in front of the door to the rebuilt throne room.
“What if His Greatness doesn't remember him, Kamek? What then?” Kammy asked her son in concern, to which the blue Magikoopa responded with a determined look on his face. “Then I'll have to make remember from what I remember, Mother. I've been demanding this defiant Yoshi and his friends on many occasions to hand over Mario up until they cornered me in the King's playroom. I may shed some light on the fog in his mind. Let's go inside.”
On the other side, Bowser was snoring peacefully on his throne with a snot bubble visible on his nostril, with Bowser Jr. sleeping peacefully on his father’s lap, with a snot bubble of his own. However, within moments, the Magikoopas slide open the door, a bit too loudly as the sound woke the Koopa King and Prince.
“Your Greatness, we've returned--!” Kamek cheerfully started, but then a startled Bowser Jr. threw a fireball straight at the Koopa mages!
*End theme, Insert Theme: “To Our Surprise” (Kingdom Hearts)*
“GYAAAAH!” Kammy and Kamek scream as they dodge the attack, but as the blue wizard was about to get himself up, an irate Bowser Jr. jumps above him and smashes him with a Ground Pound!

(Bowser Jr.) “I AM... *THONK!*”
(Kamek) “Gyah!”
(Bowser Jr.) ““... TRYING... *DONK!*”
(Kamek) “Gwergh!!”
(Bowser Jr.) “TO SLEEP!!! *BOOOOOM!!*”
(Kamek) “GYAAAAAaaaaaa-owwww...!!!”
“OH, MY BOY!!!” Kammy screamed as Bowser Jr. kicked aside Kamek’s flattened body, which got him to groan. “... Ju... Just that fateful cruel daaaaayyyyy...” After that, the flattened mage reinflated himself and rubbed his forehead as he began to see stars. “Ooooooogh...”
*End Theme, Insert Theme: “Chains of the Heart ~ Psyche Lock 2013” (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies)*
“Wow... nice one, Junior.” Bowser was impressed of his son’s reaction before angrily turning to the mages. “Kamek! Kammy! You two better have a good excuse for waking me and Junior during our royal evil nap!”
“Yeah! Why did you wake me up, you old fools?!” Bowser Jr. yelled, equally as ticked off, to which Kamek shook off his dizziness from his head and explained. “Hooh! My king and prince... mostly to you, my king, there is someone I wish you to see that you haven't seen in a long time.”
“Nnmmuh?!” Bowser gave a confusing response as Kammy did the honors of calling in the Toadies to bring the petrified chief and attendant.
“Kamek... you must have lost some of your important intelligence while you were snooping like I ordered you to. HOW in the world does STATUES of a human woman and... AN OBESE EGG-LAYING LIZARD WITH A HEADBAND are supposed to be SOMEONE I HAVEN'T SEEN IN A LONG TIME?!?!?!” Bowser gave an unimpressed statement with an upset tone, enough to make Kammy give one remark to her son. “... He doesn't remember, Kamek.”
“What did you just mutter, you old hag?!” Bowser growled at the Magikoopa matriarch, which was enough to mute her while making her sweat bullets..
Bowser Jr. looked at the Magikoopa mage and frowned. “Did you replace your brain with a rock, Kamek? Why would you do something so lame?!”
Kamek, deciding to keep a calm head, had begun to explain. “Ahem! Young Master, if your belittling me is supposed to chap my shell more than that pounding from earlier, I’ll tell you a story about your father back when he was your size...” Soon after the blue Magikoopa said that, his tone turned with malicious anger boiling upwards. “..About when he knew Mario and Luigi for the first time...”

*ONE HOUR LATER...*
An hour has passed as Kamek fully explained every detail of the events on Yoshi’s Island years ago to the royal Koopas, which had left them royally speechless!
“... These major blunders broke everything I had. My mind, my heart, my pride, my confidence and MY RESPECT! All I have done has been chewed up and spitted out right on my face because of Yoshi's father here and his friends. They were responsible for where we all are now!!!” Kamek cried out, finishing his explanation in a stressful manner, as he was catching his breath. Kammy ran to her exasperated son and rubbed his shoulder. “Kamek, that's enough. They seem to get the truth now.”
*Insert Theme: “Madness” (Sonic Adventure 2)*
“I-I can't believe that happened to my poor daddy! You gettin' all this, Papa?” Bowser Jr., completely shocked of what he heard turned to his father, who twitched with his jaw dropped to the ground but didn’t say a word. “P-Papa?”
“Grgh...! ... ...!!!” Bowser growled as a rush of memories began to echo in his mind as he began to twitch violently and rapidly, certain to the Magikoopa son and mother that their King’s top will explode any minute!
*End Theme*
Somehow, through a small chance of luck for the Magikoopas, the enraged Koopa King managed to calm down as he completely understood what Kamek meant. “I see now, Kamek... You had found an opportunity to exact revenge for me AND yourself. On the one who was responsible for all this misery, no less... How could I have forgotten all this...?”
“You were very young, Master. That happens in time. And I am gladdened you understand this.” Kamek sighed a breath of relief before turning to the petrified duo. “And I think you two have been like that for long enough. HERE!” With that, the blue wizard casted a countercurse, undoing the petrification.
*POOF!*
Kotori snaps out of her daze and looked frantically around the area she is in. “Eh- nani?! What's going on?! Where am I?! How did I get here?! Why am I in chains?! What am I-- KYAAAAAAAAA!!!!!” ..Of course, this was her first encounter with the dreaded Koopa King up close.
“Groughhh... My eyes...” Chief Yoshi has begun to snap back to reality, only to find himself chained up! “Huh- what the?!”
“Hyehehe! GEHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Long time no see, little Yoshi... Oh, I'm sorry- ‘Chief’ Yoshi.” The cackling voice that could only belong to Kamek, to which the chieftain easily recognized. “Huh? No...! It's you! KAMEK!”
“Hehe! Ahh, I am pleased you haven't forgotten me after all these years!” Kamek smiled to Chief Yoshi before changing his tone to an enraged maniac out for revenge. “I, on the other hand, never forgotten about you OR your insolent friends!” With that, the Magikoopa stomped towards the chief’s face. “On how you defied me! How you humiliated me!! How you harmed my lord and secured the two babies who were destined to ruin his great future and put all my efforts in preventing all that in vain!!!”
“Kamek, you—“ Chief started with a glare, but Kamek interrupted point blank on the chieftain. “NO!!!” Soon, the mage was weeping for a bit as he spoke. “Do you have a thought what misery and painful abuse I went through and the wounds I'm scarred with over the years?! The damages you've done to us all?! The betrayals and deaths of our many brethren?! NO!!! YOU DIDN'T!!!” Af if his anger has somehow snapped is sanity by a bit, Kamek cackled in broken laughter as he spoke again. “But... But now that here b-before us... kehehe... HehaHAHAHAHA...!!!”
“Get a hold of yourself, boy!!!” Kammy pleaded to her son, who seems to be losing his marbles. The reaction calmed the manic mage somewhat, as he one more time. “TODAY, WE CAN HAVE OUR REVENGE!!!”
“’We?’" Chief Yoshi asked in skepticism but then looked at the attendant, who is too busy shaking and whimpering to give comment. “Ms. Kotori? What's..“ The chief started before he ended up seeing Bowser sitting on his throne, snorting a breath of flame. “Sour cherry pits and Fuzzies, IS THAT YOU, BOWSER?! You're even bigger than the last I saw you!”
“Yep, that's my daddy, Fatty!” Bowser Jr. laughed, turning the chief’s attention to the mischievous runt. “He-- OH, YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!!!”
“Kehehe. Surprised, are you? He's just like his father in almost every way!” Kammy giggled to the chief, was got him to deadpan. “Now that's just what I'm worried about!”
Kotori turned to look at Bowser Jr. for a brief moment, and was somehow overwhelmed by the runt’s cuteness as she developed a nosebleed.
“Oh, great. Another one...!” Bowser frowned to himself, reminded of Takane’s nosebleed when the Idols first arrived.. before deciding to jump between the two, startling them!
“Yikes!!!” Chief Yoshi bounced backa bit while Kotori screamed. “KYAAAAAAAAAAAA!”
*Insert Jingle: “An Angry Bowser” (Mario Party 7)*
“WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT MY BOY FOR LIKE THAT, WOMAN!?!” Bowser roared at Kotori, scaring her. “Bwuuhhh...! Aaaahhhh...!”
Not wasting any time, Bowser went to grapple Chief Yoshi by the neck! “WAH!!!”
*Insert Theme: “Stop! Bowser Time!: (Mario party 7)*
“And YOU!!! After what Kamek told me, how could I have not known you were the start of ruining my life?! I always hated Mario and Luigi, most of all- MARIO! And if you didn't appear, I would have had EVERYTHING! Peach, the Mushroom Kingdom, the whole world! AND THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE ABOVE ALL THAT!!” Bowser roared furiously at the chief. Within moments, the veins in the Koopa King’s eyes appear as the creature has begun to tear up in rage and drooling with his teeth clenched tightly. “Everything would have been all mine if had not had two mustached nuisances jumping and throwing hammers and fireballs at me and my family plus a ugly moment of CHILD ABUSE at your hand I wish had forgotten!!! You have no idea of the number how many of my men died and the defeats I suffered! IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!! I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE YOU!!! YOU, YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY, THOSE TWO BROTHERS!!!” Ian an increased rage Bowser tightened his grip on the chief’s neck. “WORDS CAN NEVER EXPRESS MY HATE FOR ALL OF YOU! I WILL TURN YOU ALL TO NOTHING!!!”
“Errghg...!” Chief has begun to gag a bit as he tried to reach for Bowser’s hands. Kamek, finally having his revenge, had begun to laugh maniacally. “Hehehehehehahahahahahahahaha!” Kammy, however, felt a painful ringing in her ears. “I think all the king's shouting has made me deaf!”
*End Theme*
All of a sudden, Bowser, realizing something, let go of his grip on the chief and dropped him. “Wait... Perhaps it's too early to kill you.”
“M-MY KING?!” Kamek, shocked at his king’s reaction, shouted while Chief Yoshi caught his breath, yet stared at the king with a flabbergasted expression.
“I need to save my energy AND all my hatred for you until the moment is right... I wish to see Yoshi, Luigi AND Mario watch you perish before their very eyes before I move on to them.” Bowser’s gave a satisfactory reason before the chief. But just as he was about to say more, the Bowser Space light on the throne lighted up!
*Insert Jingle: “Bowser’s Message” (Super Mario 64) (Complete with Bowser’s laugh!)*
“Ooh! That's my cue!” Bowser perked up before pulling out a magic wand with a golden Bowser face on each end and a red orb in one mouth and a purple one in the other. “See you all soon! Bwa hahahahaha!” The Koopa King laughed before turning into smoke and hurried to the space in question.
“What just happened there?” Kotori asked in worry, to which Kamek gave the answer, plain and simple. “It's seems some unlucky player landed on his space.”
“His space?!” Chief Yoshi responded in shock, to which Kammy gave a curt smile as she summoned her broom to rest on. “Yes. I'd pity the poor misfortunate soul if they were an idol...”
Kotori gasped, worried that one of the Idols may have ended up in serious trouble, but Bowser Jr. decided to reassure the attendant. “Don't worry, Missus, they be fine!” ..”I think..”
*Yoshi’s Island ~ Floral Field Forest*
Moyoshi was walking around the area, looking for something... or a certain someone, or in this case, two people. The pink Yoshi’s worried face drew the attention of Haruka and Yayoi. “Moyoshi-sama! The ribboned Idol called out, Yayoi ran over to the Yoshi mother and looked at her fatigued face. “Moyoshi-sama? You look tired...”
“Hahh... Huhh... I having no luck. Ms. Kotori is not at the lake where I left her. And I can't find my husband there or anywhere in the village...” Moyoshi gasped with worry, enough to worry Producer-san, as weel as the Futami twins.
“What?!” Producer-san gapse din worry, whiel the twins look at Moyoshi with worried gazes. “Piyo-chan's gone?!”
“The Chief's not in the village?” Boshi called out, hearing the news after getting Liboshi home. Chihaya too had begun to wonder what happened to the both of them. “Wherever could they be? Are they somewhere else on the island?”
“My darling knows his way around the island a lot. It's impossible for that Yoshi to get lost here.” Moyoshi pointed out a fact of her husband to Chihaya, to which the veteran yellow Yoshi began to wonder. “Then where could—“
“KYAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” Yukiho screamed all of a sudden, startling Makoto all of a sudden. “Huwahh! YUKIHO?!” The reason she screamed? Yukiho began to feel really frightened.. is that SHE happened to have unfortunately landed on that dreaded Bowser Space! “Hwaaaaaaaaa...!!!”
*Insert Jingle: “Bowser’s Message” (Super Mario 64) (Complete with Bowser’s laugh! ..Again...)*
“Oh no! Yukiho's landed on the Bowser Space!” Daisy gasped in worry, making Moyoshi and the veterans stare at the Sarasa Land princess with dumbfounded looks on their faces. “The WHAT?!?!?!”
“NO!” Producer-san was beginning to get really for Yukiho, as well as Makoto. “EEEEHHHHHH?!”
Within moments, a mechanical platform appears next to Yukiho, scaring her. “KYAH!!”
Within moments, the capsule on the platform opens and slides down in a puff of dark magical smoke. The pyrotechnics flare all over, and from there, Bowser appears breathing fire into the air as he roars, scraing Yukiho even more. “KYAAAAA!!!”
*Insert Theme: “Bowser Stage” (Mario tennis)*
“GRAAAA HAHAHAHAHAAAA!!! Well, well, well! What have we here?! Someone seems to have landed on my BOWSER SPACE!” Bowser roared as he stood on the platform. Yukiho began to tremble and cry a bit in utmost fear. “Uuuuu... nnnnnh...!”
“Bowser...” Peach held her hand in worry, while Moyoshi stood bewildered. “Bowser?! Spiny Pineapples, he looks much larger last we saw him!” Makto, clearly worried for her friend as she gritted her teeth and prepared herself. “Yukiho...!”
Bowser looked downwards on whoever landed on his space, but when he saw Yukiho, he began to blush and clasp his hands together in a way that Cupid hit him with an arrow. “Awwww, if it isn't innocent little Yukiho! Aren't we both lucky!”
“Kyaahh!!!” Yukiho yelped while trying to cover herself, which made Bowser scratch his head for a bit. “Hnhnhn, yeah, I'm supposed to be scary.” With an evil grin and a gleam to his eye, Bowser spoke. “Well... let's see what Bowser's Wheels of Fate will bring you.”
Within moments, four large wheels, like those on Wheel of Fortune, only styled more in Bowser’s flavor, appear in a diamond formation, connected to a larger wheel. Within moments, Bowser spun the wheel, enough for Yukiho to tremble even more.. “Mmmph... Oh no..”
The first wheel spun endlessly until it stopped...
*Insert Sound Effects: “Microwave Ding” & “Bowser’s laugh”*
“HYAAAAAAA!!!” Yukiho leapt upwards, startled by the laugh. Bowser looked at the wheel and his eyes and smile widen. “OHHHH! A Bowser Mini-game! I love games! I love them even more when they're mine! Bwa hahahahahaaaa!”
“Mama mia, she's-a cornered!” Luigi panicked in worry, with Ritsuko fearing as well. “Yuki-chan!”
“Yukiho!!!” Makoto and Daisy shout for their friend as Bowser switched wheels and rotated them.
“Which are we gonna' play?! Which one?!” Bowser cheerfully spoke a she spun the wheel, leaving Yukiho to clench herself...
The seconding spun until it stop, by which the Koopa King took notice. “
*Insert Sound Effects: “Microwave Ding” & “Bowser’s laugh” (Again...)*
“Oh, yes! Looks like we're playing the new Mini-game, "Bowser's Puzzle Attack Panic!" But the third and final wheel will tell us what conditions will be for Winners and Losers!” Bowser smiled before letting the large wheel rotate one more time to reveal the third and final wheel. Without hesitation or relent, Bowser spun the last wheel. The wheel then spun and spun until it too had come to a halt. The outcome was not at all what all the Idols had in mind... “HUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHH?!” Yukiho, wishing that this mishap did Not have to have, clasped her hands around her mouth and gasped.
“Bwa hahahahahaaaaaaaa! Brilliant! 2nd and 3rd Losers each give the Winner 10 Coins, Last Place Losers give 20 Coins to ME! EXCELLENT!” Bowser was delighted at the results.
