CrystalPhoenixBlader here, bringing in yet another chapter to the fanfic! Man, was the Bowser Event meddlesome last chapter, even leaving Yukiho pretty demoralized! Fortunately with Bowser aside for now, things should be back to normal in the party! ..Or will it really? Find out!
Also, disclaimer time: I do not own any of the Mario characters or the iDOLMASTER characters; the Mario characters belong to Nintendo and the iDOLMASTER characters belong to Namco Bandai. Also, the characters ”Reiji Arisu”, “Xiaomu” and “Saya” belong to namco Bandai and Monolift Soft. In addition, the character “Boshi” belongs to Nintendo and Square Enix”. So with that aside, let’s bloom before the dawn to the net chapter!

Yoshi's Panel-Disappearing Flashbacks! Karaoke Khaos! Return of the Super Smash Bros. Brawl Theme!
*Yoshi’s Island ~ Bowser’s Castle ~ Throne Room
*Insert Theme: “Castle & Fortress” (Yoshi’s Island)*
“Okay, okay, I get it! Bowser has been defeated for years by the brothers! So-- *BZZZZAAAAP* YOWWWWW!!! Will you stop zapping me with your magic, Kamek...?!” The voice of Chief Yoshi echoed in the torture as the vengeance-hungry Kamek electrocuted to chieftain in a way that his exoskeleton flashed visible repeatedly. The manic mage turned to his mother Kammy with a quick question, with quick hints of sarcasm. “Mother, do I have a reason to stop doing this?”
“Of course not, my boy.” Kammy answered with a smile before turning to a bitter frown. “He's the reason why the Koopa Clan is suffering and broken up.”
“See, Chief Yoshi? I WON'T!” Kamek confirmed as he zapped Chief Yoshi again in front of Bowser Jr., who is just sitting down for a brief moment out of boredom and Kotori, who is still tied up ,
*End Theme, Insert Theme: “Angry Bowser” (Paper Mario)*
All of a sudden, getting the attention of all people present in the room, a cloud of dark wafts into the room, and through it, Bowser reanimates himself to his usual scaly look with a happy greeting. “I'm back! Bwa hahahahahaaaa!”
“Hey, welcome back, Papa!” Bowser Jr. greeted his father which one haphazard thought in mind. “That was quick.” Kammy and Kamek stop the electrocution midway to bow down before their mighty king. The blue Maginkoopa then asked his superior in a respectful tone befitting such a presence to him. “Good to see you back so soon, Your Greatness. Did it go well?”
Bowser held the Bowser Coin Bag with a gleeful grin on his face, albeit a bit cheeky. “Did it? It went off without a hitch! Got 40 Coins for my trouble, too!” The Koopa King then raised his scepter to levitate all of the ill-gotten coins safely into his vault with no problems as he turned back to the group. “Did you need to ask?! Haha.”
“Do you mind sharing who it was that landed on your space?” Kammy asked her superior in plain curiosity, which was enough to make Bowser as happy as a puppy as he sat back on his throne. “Who?! It was Yukiho! She's much cuter and beautiful up close in person. And timid, too! All the more reason to make her all mine!”
“Hagiwara-san?! Ohhh, I hope she's alright...!” Kotori spoke to herself in worry for Yukiho as Bowser refocused his attention to the chief. “Now that I'm back, I want to get back on the subject... about you, Chief Yoshi.”
“I'm pretty sure I have the idea of what you're thinking, King Bowser... But go on ahead.” The cooked Chief Yoshi deadpanned, knowing where the conversation is going.
“Yeah. Anyways, after committing child assault and annihilating some of my forces back in the past, I'm giving you the Death Penalty. Personally. me AND Kamek are going to execute you, personally.” Bowser roared at the captured chieftain, to which he deadpanned even more, knowing the reaction. “... I figured as much...”
“Master...” Kamek spoke quietly, anxious to get the event of their own over with, while Kammy took her turn to speak. “And Kammy has a way to show your people your execution, live and recording, so those chameleon-tounged reptilian dodos and friends will learn not to oppose me. However, I'm going to be satisfied with just those, Chief! I'm also going to turn your friends and family and every last Yoshi on this island into fossil fuel for retribution!” The very thought of the threat alone made Chief Yoshi gasp.
“Th-That's heartless! It's EVIL!” Kotori yapped in disgust, to which Kammy retorted with a smug grin on her face while sticking out her tongue. “Oh, it's VERY VEEEERRRRY EVIL, my pretty. Bleah hehehe...”
Bowser then turned his attention away from Chief Yoshi to look at the green haired attendant. “And you, young lady...” To which she reacted with a stiffened spine. “Eh?!”
“I've been wanting to ask... who are you?” Bowser asked with a suspicious look in his red eyes, to which Kotori started to clam up and sweat like crazy, too scared to even say a word. Kammy sighed for a moment and simply gave a simple yet direct command. “Go on, tell him, my dear!”
“K... K-K... Kotori Otonashi... A-Attendent and s-s-secretary of 765 Productions... I-I-I'm usually taking care of things...” Kotori stuttered nervously, unable to keep calm, which made Bowser sigh for a bit. Kamek walked to the panicking attendant and spoke. “Okay, we get this. Now, Ms. Kotori, tell His Powerfulness what I overheard from you by the lake...” Kotori just looked at the blue Magikoopa with a startled face. “Eh..?”
“You know... the one about knowing the Idols detail by detail.” Kamek pointed out the one thing about the attendant that got his attention, which made her droop a bit. “Eh?! Oh, I did say that...”
*End Theme, Insert Theme: “Bowser’s theme” (Mario and Luigi: Dream Team)*
“Amazing! Perhaps she COULD be of use to me!” Bowser thought happily as he raised an eyebrow as he spoke to the Magikoopa matriarch. “Detail by detail? In that case, I know what I can do. Kammy, I want you to have her interrogated. Be gentle but squeeze out every drop of detailed information from her. Let the brainiacs have it all recorded and taken to my castle.” Kotori stiffened as if her spine was hit with a lightning bolt. “N-NANI?!”
“It shall be done, Your Commandfulness! Okay, Kotori, my pretty- off to the basement with you!” Kammy accepted the command before readying a teleport spell on Kotori, who yelped in panic. “M..Matte! WAIT!!”
*POOF!*
..And just like that, Kotori disappeared, prompting Chief Yoshi to worry. “Will she be okay?”
“She'll be taken good care of. Hey, Sergeant!” Bowser calmly answered before turning to Sergeant Guy, who was just standing by in case he was needed.
“Sire?” The high ranking Shy Guy responded immediately before Bowser, noting how quiet he was, gave his orders. “Hmph, you been silent for a long time... Grrhem! It appears I have something for you to do now. I think you should return to the castle and round up our stealthiest and sneakiest spies for a... special task... that has details I need to give after the event is over.”
“... Very well, Your Majesty... I shall leave for home at once.” Sergeant Guy saluted before leaving the room to do the given task.
“Hey, Papa?” Bowser Jr. politely asked his father, to which he attentively responded. “Hmm? Yes, son?”
“What have I got to do?” Bowser Jr. asked with sparkles in his eyes. Bowser stopped ot think for a moment, then with a grin gave his command. “Ha. Tell you what, Junior, why don't you have some fun riding the ol' Green Donkey over there.” The very mention of that name made Chief Yoshi flinch as she quietly spoke to himself. “... After all those years after that battle, a part of me wished I never had to hear that from him...!”
“Ride him as much as you like, he's yours 'til he stops breathing. Ride 'im ROUGH! Don't give him a break!” Bowser finalized the order, to which his mischief maker son smiled happily. “Thanks, Papa!”
Bowser then turned to Kamek and gave his order to him before he left the room. “And Kamek, you're going to make sure he keeps carrying my son, so DON'T let him STOP 'til I'm ready to execute the old fossil.” Kamek smiled at his king with a grin that even tells one of bad news. “Oh! Yes, Sire! You want him to keep going? I know just the method to keep him going! Kehehe... heh hah hah! Kehahahahahahahaha!!!” Chief Yoshi, forced to be the ‘green donkey’ again, this time with Bowser Jr., thought quietly of the predicament he ended up in. “G'ohh, I can't believe a good deed was all that got me into this mess! Somebody get me out of it!”

*Yoshi’s Island ~ Floral Field Forest*
*Insert Theme: “Flower Garden” (Yoshi’s Island)*
A small bit of chaos in the form of a small forest fire caused from the flamses from the Bowser Space ensued, though it posed no problem to the Yoshis as they pitched together to use water and mud to put out the flames effectively, with help from Benjamin and the Shinra duo, so that the party can safely continue. Within moments, the flames were reduced to mere dying embers that soon flickered to nothing.
“Whew... the fires are out at last...!” Luigi sighed as the last of the flames were put out. Peach then walked to the green plumber’s side as she wached the blue and brown veteran Yoshis pdouse the last of the flames. “Hopefully, the trees may recover from the blaze.” Producer-san, looking as the chaos calmed down, decided to note one thing. “And the flowers, too.”
“Thank goodness...!” Moyoshi sighed that everything about this chaos is settled... well almost everything as a single hole in the ground, freshly dug up, was pretty much visible, and from it, echoing sobs that could only belong to one person... Yukiho. “Gomenasaii..”
“Yukiho!” Makoto cried out, surprised that as soon as she let her best friend down, the saddened Idol, quickly pulled out the Diamond Shovel, dug a hole, and buried herself in... again.
“Yukiho, get out of that hole, please!” Ritsuko ordered feverishly, getting the attention of Wario and Walugi, who decided to have some fruit. Wario was chomping on a melon as he looked at the hole and frowned. “Great, the waterworks have opened again...”
Reiji put his Sorin blade back in its sheath to see the hole Yukiho made. Without any second thoughts, the agent walked to Miki and asked in a deadpanned tone. “Is she always like this...?” Miki did not look at Reiji’s serious eyes as she raised her shoulders and shrugged, with one answer in mind. “More than you ever know...”
*End Theme, Insert Theme: “Reminiscence ~ Tragic Memories” (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies)*
From deep within the single hole, Yukiho wept sadly, constantly blaming herself for what happened with the Bowser Space. The poor Idol was teary eyed to the point that her eyesight was blurred as she wept bitterly. “I've always had bad luck... and I'm always causing trouble. I could never stand up to bullies... or my father. My body burns from the pain from earlier, even though I still live... I'm really delicate and frail as the flowers I see before me, so fragile and brittle as a single snow crystal... Me, Yukiho Hagiwara...”
Benjamin, sighing for a bit, walked to the hole and quite spoke to the deeply saddened Idol. “Stop belittling yourself. Doing so upon yourself and others brings doubt; doubt dampens beliefs and can bring despair. Never give into despair and doubt and you'll fortify the strengths of your beliefs, as belief and desire can shape everything. It's something I've done almost everyday and you should give them some strength behind yours. Okay?" Yukiho slowly and quietly peered out of the hole and looked at Benjamin’s eyes, which came off as calm and understanding, and began to wipe her tears. Makoto went to support her best friend. Quietly regaining her composure, Yukiho gently smiled. “..Arigatou, Makoto-chan, Benjamin-san.” Mario looked at the three and smiled, knowing that the problem was resolved as he got back on his spot on the board. However, something seemed to be on Yoshi’s mind as he returned to his spot on the board.
*End Theme, Insert Theme: “Yoshi’s Stage” (Tetris Attack / Panel de Pon)*
“That event from the Bowser Space... it’s sorta like that puzzle that I did long before to save my pals from Kamek long before... but could this be a coincidence? Hmm...” Yoshi began to recall a similar incident which he had to rescue his brainwashed pals from Kamek’s grasp, leading to a battle with Bowser... by himself! Mario looked at his dino pal and had begun to ask out of curiosity. “Hey-a Yoshi! Whatza on your mind?”
*End Theme with Record Scratch sound*
Snapped back to the realm of reality, Yoshi turned to Mario. “Huh? ..Oh, it was nothing. Just remembering something from a couple years back.” Mario sighed as he pointed to the board as he walked back to his position. “Well, da party is back on now and-a technically, it’s-a your turn!”
“What are you... oh, it IS my turn now...” Yoshi began to ask in a confused manner, before realizing that is IS his turn next after Yukiho, so he frantically got to the space he was last and hit the Dice Block. To the green dinosaur’s shock, he landed on a space that looked much like the Dance Space, but was colored a sky blue color instead of pink.
*Insert Theme: “Swanky’s Sideshow” (Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble)*
All of a sudden, a singing stage appeared from the sky with a thud with multiple microphone stands, startling the whole group!
“Whaa... is it the Dance Space again?” Ritsuko asked while getting her spare pair of glasses on to take place of the pair that was destroyed during Bowser’s event. Moysohi walked to the intelligent Idol and corrected her. “Close. This is the Song Space. It looks like the Dance Space but did you notice that this one is a different color? Also, there is a slight difference, the team whose member step on this space is the one who will participate. We choose a song a random with what Team Mario and the Idols haves and pick it by way of this roulette! Alright then, ROULETTE START!!” With that, the pink Yoshi started the electronic roulette wheel which lit up the songs randomly until it stopped on a song Mario, Peach, Luigi, Wario, Yoshi, and D.K. were very familiar with...

“Da Supa Smash Bros. Brawl theme? That is a great-a choice, but uh... do any of da Idols know Latin?” Mario asked while scratch ing his head. Most of the Idols were quiet, until Takane stepped forward.
“If you’d like Mario-san, I can help the others understand the lyrics.” The Silver Queen asked, to which Mario smiled. “Take-a your time and let me-a know when you’re ready I’ve got to reminisce a bit of da Supa Smash Tournaments I took part in... That theme had becom-a legendary, even in the Mushroom Kingdom.”
“Oh, I LOVED that theme!" Benjamin agreed with Mario, to which the curious Yayoi asked the interdimensional being in the form of a cyan Yoshi. “Benjamin-san? You're familiar with the Super Smash Bros.?”
*Insert Theme: “Menu 1” (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)
"YOU KIDDING?!?!?! There is HARDLY a single Omnidimensional Being such as myself who doesn't KNOW about the Super Smash Bros. Universal-Dimensional Organization (SSBUDO)! Besides Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, DK, Diddy, Yoshi and Wario- this organization picks capable fighters from different worlds, universes and dimensions who they deem worthy of competing in 4-man battle matches with different rules. Some of my friends and I happen to be regular customers, spectators and fans. I especially happen to won a LOT of Betting Fights and also give away Member Invitations of different kinds. Even leave presents behind." Benjamin eagerly smiled and explained with his eyes glimmering like diamonds, recalling his time when he visited the Smash World with a paid invitation as a VIP fan to watch the fights in the realm ruled by Master Hand and Crazy Hand until the dreaded Tabuu had to make a mess of things. Haruka grew confused as she looked at Benjamin. “Uh, I’m sorry, Benjamin-san, but who’s Diddy?”
“Ooh, I can answer that, Haruka!” Donkey Kong happily stepped in while eating a banana he had in reserve. “Diddy’s my little buddy back at Donkey Kong Island! Believe it or not, we go on adventures together when our precious Banana Hoard or the very isle itself is threatened! Diddy may be small, but he’s a pretty powerful little buddy, especially with his Peanut Popguns!” However, that very comment drew Reiji’s attention. “Peanuts? Are you serious??”

“Yep! Fired in the same ways as you little guns, the peanuts do leave quite a sting!” D.K. smiled as he beat his chest, enough for the Shinra agent’s gloved hand to meet his face. “Ugh... edible ammunition... what will they think of next?”
Meanwhile, hiding by one of the burned trees, Saya overheard Reiji and smirked. “I know what you mean. These ‘peanut bullets’ might lower the cost for resources used up, but to believe they would only exist in a world like this? I’d show up right now, but with these burns all over my skin from Bowser’s little ‘fun’ I’d really not be at my best.” Better head to that nearby spring to wash my face and put back some makeup on...” With that, the seductive werefox, not wanting blow her cover for the time being, snuck away. However, Xiaomu turned in confusion, feeling that she may have heard her voice a bit, but decided to shrug and save the thought for another time, wondering if there were echoes, until she realized on one person that Benjamin said that was of the Mushroom Kingdom that participated.. “Wait a minute... Mario, are you saying that BOWSER of all people entered this tournament too?!” That outburst quickly grabbed the attention of everyone.
“Oh don’t-a worry, Xiaomu. Masta Hand and his-a brother Crazy Hand are a lot more-a powerful than-a Bowsa. In fact, he and anotha villain from anotha world named Ganondorf were forced to agree to follow da rules of da tournament if dey wanta participate! Nothin’ too serious!” Mario brightened things up, which got the group to calm down, yet they were left wondering just who or what is Master Hand.
*Insert Theme: “Menu (Melee)” (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)*
Just then, out of nowhere, a couple of invitations floated downwards from out of the sky as if from nowhere. Mario spotted the envelopes and used his signature jump to reach for all of them and recognized the symbol on the envelopes.
“Da Smash emblem! Looks like Masta Hand is-a letting us know already!” Mario shouted as he opened his envelope and read the invitation. The red plumber smiled as he put the invitation in his pocket. “Looks like da next Smash Tournament iis in a coupa of months! The party will be already done by then!” Happy of the news, Mario smiled but then noticed a VIP pass addressed to Benjamin.
“Looks like you’ll have-a da VIP status in da Smash World’s audience line again, Benjamin!” Mario smiled, making Benjamin happy. Luigi joined in the conversation with a single beat of his chest. “Benjamin, I hope you are-a cheering for me as I fight.”
“I could hardly win a fight against Bowser despite my pros...” Peach spoke in a downcast tone, recalling that despite her unique ability to float in the air, her light frame made it easy for one like Bowser to easily knock her away.
“It's-a okay, Princess Peach. You can't-a win 'em all, but you'll-a get him.” Mario reassured Peach, which made her feel better. Yoshi then stared at Wario with a dissatisfied stare with particular reason considering what he did during the battle with Dino Piranha back at Sky Station Galaxy. “So long as Wario doesn't pull off his trademarked ‘Wario Waft.’” The green dinosaur finalized his thought in the matter, which made Wario feel a tad overconfident. “Hehehehehehehe, you haven't seen my ‘Atomic Wario Waft’ yet!”
D.K., fearing that this ‘Atomic Wario Waft’ could be even worse, decided to walk toward the chubby mischief maker’s face and glare at him. “Ooohhh, man! That sounds like you can really reel and lose your meal from something that! I'll pound you to you to a pulp if you DARE try doing that around me!”
*End Theme with Wheel Skid sound*
“Hey, break it up, guys!” Daisy stepped in the break up Donkey Kong and Wario, while Ritsuko stepped in. “Can we get back to the subject here?” The intelegent Idol looked at Takane, who was waiting for the group while eating and sharing some ramen with Moyoshi. The pink Yoshi then announced. “For this, ALL the particiapnts will have to sing. Oh, for those who don’t know the lyrics in Latin, Ms. Takane Shijou has volunteered to mentor the pronunciation of the lyrics through printed scripts. Let me when you all are ready so we can get this underway!” And with that, Takane, placing the ramen aside, went to help teach the lyrics, along with Mario, who had been abroad before. After a bunch a minutes filled with a couple of hits and misses and bit tongues, the event was about to get underway...
*TWEBTY MINUTES LATER...*
After a couple of preparations, concerning lyric comprehension in Latin, the eight participants step onto the stage in front of the rest of the group, who sat in provided tree leaf seats. Reiji stood stoically by a tree, while Xiaomu was getting excited, able to see a live performance in person. Within moments the large screen behind the participants was turned on as D.K. and Moyoshi sat on the Judges’ panel. Moyoshi sighed for a moment, worried on my have happened to her husband, but cast the thought aside for the time being to focus on the event. Iori, Yukiho, Ryou, and Ritsuko were pretty nervous, considering that this time they were going to sing a song in a language not their own. Mario looked at the four Idols and smiled. “Don’t-a worry. Just do da best dat you-a can, okay!” Taknane nodded her approval with a cup of ramen at the ready.
“Okay, every, are you-a ready? One, two, a one, two, three, GO!” Mario signaled the time to sing, which he, as well as Iori, Yoshi, Luigi, Magikoopa, Ritsuko, Yukiho, and Ryou begin at once while holding their scripts!

The performance started a little sloppy, due to the unfamiliarity of Latin to the four participants for 765 Pro, but thanks to the encouragement of Takane and Mario and the minutes of sheer practice with just these lyrics, the four hung in there till the very end while a video was shown of multiple people from other worlds duking it out in differently colored environments, from a space battle cruiser, to even Delfino Plaza, to a race track, to even a checker patterned landscape! All the more while, D.K. and Moyoshi were so moved by the participants’ efforts that they can’t make up their minds.
“Ooh, oh this definitely reminds me of the times at Smash World, and even when my little buddy joined in!” D.K. smiled while wiping his tears of joy.
“So what’ll we do, D.K.? We can’t make up our minds on who did it the best!” Moyoshi grew concerned, to which the ape thought of a quick solution. “Eh, why not we give all of them the Coins and get this over with?”
“Okay, there is no need to bicker over this anyway.” Moyoshi smiled.

All the participants, wheezing and sweating a bit, went to the panel to hear the results. Moyoshi then attentively gave the announcement. “Everyone, we gauged your perfomances, and quite honestly, they were all superb for a first try that we can’t make up our minds. So D.K. and I both had decided we should just give 20 Coins to each of you!” The very news sparked joy in the faces of the participants, as well as a satisfied smirk from Takane. “As expected.”
Iori, Ryou, and Yukiho hugged each other, happy of the accomplishment, while Mario Yoshi, and Luigi high five in delight!
“With that, I think it’s your turn on the board next, iori!” Moyoshi announced, to which the rich girl quickly ran back to the board and hit her Dice Block.
*Insert Theme: “Overworld Theme” (Yoshi’s Island)*
Whether it was a lot of good karma to make up for what Bowser did or not, Iori ended up on the pink Dance Space, prompting everyone to styare at her. “Heehee...”
“Wow, this-a party is on a roll it seems.” Mario smirked, with Luigi nodding in agreement.
“So, before I faced Birdo.. Yoshi, you want to face me in a Dance Battle?” Iori thought of the disastrous Dance Battle back at Guffawha Ruins and how it went, but reassuring herself that this time she will not injure herself, the pretty little Idol issued a challenge to Yoshi, her pal in the kingdom. The green dinosaur closed his eyes for a bit, then reopened them with a confident gaze. “You bet! That’s what friends are for, right?”
Meanwhile in the woods, Poochy raced headlong towards the Floral Field Forest in pure haste, holding Kotori’s hairband in its mouth, determined to get help...

Wow, the first Song Space event is over, but Iori has now stepped on the Dance Space and issued a challenge to Yoshi, which he gladly accepts! CanIori’s second attempt be ablessing or will it be more than she bargained fo? And little Poochy is still racing to meet up with the group with Kotori’s hairband in its jaw? Can he make it to the group before something happens to Chief Yoshi and Kotori? Find out!
Whew, this is the first time for Latin huh, but it’ good that there is one Idol who knows the language, otherwise, there would’ve been a problem! And what is Saya still up to if she is avoiding the group, particularly Reiji and Xiaomu? Who knows...

*Insert Theme: “Castle & Fortress” (Yoshi’s Island)*
“Okay, okay, I get it! Bowser has been defeated for years by the brothers! So-- *BZZZZAAAAP* YOWWWWW!!! Will you stop zapping me with your magic, Kamek...?!” The voice of Chief Yoshi echoed in the torture as the vengeance-hungry Kamek electrocuted to chieftain in a way that his exoskeleton flashed visible repeatedly. The manic mage turned to his mother Kammy with a quick question, with quick hints of sarcasm. “Mother, do I have a reason to stop doing this?”
“Of course not, my boy.” Kammy answered with a smile before turning to a bitter frown. “He's the reason why the Koopa Clan is suffering and broken up.”
“See, Chief Yoshi? I WON'T!” Kamek confirmed as he zapped Chief Yoshi again in front of Bowser Jr., who is just sitting down for a brief moment out of boredom and Kotori, who is still tied up ,
*End Theme, Insert Theme: “Angry Bowser” (Paper Mario)*
All of a sudden, getting the attention of all people present in the room, a cloud of dark wafts into the room, and through it, Bowser reanimates himself to his usual scaly look with a happy greeting. “I'm back! Bwa hahahahahaaaa!”
“Hey, welcome back, Papa!” Bowser Jr. greeted his father which one haphazard thought in mind. “That was quick.” Kammy and Kamek stop the electrocution midway to bow down before their mighty king. The blue Maginkoopa then asked his superior in a respectful tone befitting such a presence to him. “Good to see you back so soon, Your Greatness. Did it go well?”
Bowser held the Bowser Coin Bag with a gleeful grin on his face, albeit a bit cheeky. “Did it? It went off without a hitch! Got 40 Coins for my trouble, too!” The Koopa King then raised his scepter to levitate all of the ill-gotten coins safely into his vault with no problems as he turned back to the group. “Did you need to ask?! Haha.”
“Do you mind sharing who it was that landed on your space?” Kammy asked her superior in plain curiosity, which was enough to make Bowser as happy as a puppy as he sat back on his throne. “Who?! It was Yukiho! She's much cuter and beautiful up close in person. And timid, too! All the more reason to make her all mine!”
“Hagiwara-san?! Ohhh, I hope she's alright...!” Kotori spoke to herself in worry for Yukiho as Bowser refocused his attention to the chief. “Now that I'm back, I want to get back on the subject... about you, Chief Yoshi.”
“I'm pretty sure I have the idea of what you're thinking, King Bowser... But go on ahead.” The cooked Chief Yoshi deadpanned, knowing where the conversation is going.
“Yeah. Anyways, after committing child assault and annihilating some of my forces back in the past, I'm giving you the Death Penalty. Personally. me AND Kamek are going to execute you, personally.” Bowser roared at the captured chieftain, to which he deadpanned even more, knowing the reaction. “... I figured as much...”
“Master...” Kamek spoke quietly, anxious to get the event of their own over with, while Kammy took her turn to speak. “And Kammy has a way to show your people your execution, live and recording, so those chameleon-tounged reptilian dodos and friends will learn not to oppose me. However, I'm going to be satisfied with just those, Chief! I'm also going to turn your friends and family and every last Yoshi on this island into fossil fuel for retribution!” The very thought of the threat alone made Chief Yoshi gasp.
“Th-That's heartless! It's EVIL!” Kotori yapped in disgust, to which Kammy retorted with a smug grin on her face while sticking out her tongue. “Oh, it's VERY VEEEERRRRY EVIL, my pretty. Bleah hehehe...”
Bowser then turned his attention away from Chief Yoshi to look at the green haired attendant. “And you, young lady...” To which she reacted with a stiffened spine. “Eh?!”
“I've been wanting to ask... who are you?” Bowser asked with a suspicious look in his red eyes, to which Kotori started to clam up and sweat like crazy, too scared to even say a word. Kammy sighed for a moment and simply gave a simple yet direct command. “Go on, tell him, my dear!”
“K... K-K... Kotori Otonashi... A-Attendent and s-s-secretary of 765 Productions... I-I-I'm usually taking care of things...” Kotori stuttered nervously, unable to keep calm, which made Bowser sigh for a bit. Kamek walked to the panicking attendant and spoke. “Okay, we get this. Now, Ms. Kotori, tell His Powerfulness what I overheard from you by the lake...” Kotori just looked at the blue Magikoopa with a startled face. “Eh..?”
“You know... the one about knowing the Idols detail by detail.” Kamek pointed out the one thing about the attendant that got his attention, which made her droop a bit. “Eh?! Oh, I did say that...”
*End Theme, Insert Theme: “Bowser’s theme” (Mario and Luigi: Dream Team)*
“Amazing! Perhaps she COULD be of use to me!” Bowser thought happily as he raised an eyebrow as he spoke to the Magikoopa matriarch. “Detail by detail? In that case, I know what I can do. Kammy, I want you to have her interrogated. Be gentle but squeeze out every drop of detailed information from her. Let the brainiacs have it all recorded and taken to my castle.” Kotori stiffened as if her spine was hit with a lightning bolt. “N-NANI?!”
“It shall be done, Your Commandfulness! Okay, Kotori, my pretty- off to the basement with you!” Kammy accepted the command before readying a teleport spell on Kotori, who yelped in panic. “M..Matte! WAIT!!”
*POOF!*
..And just like that, Kotori disappeared, prompting Chief Yoshi to worry. “Will she be okay?”
“She'll be taken good care of. Hey, Sergeant!” Bowser calmly answered before turning to Sergeant Guy, who was just standing by in case he was needed.
“Sire?” The high ranking Shy Guy responded immediately before Bowser, noting how quiet he was, gave his orders. “Hmph, you been silent for a long time... Grrhem! It appears I have something for you to do now. I think you should return to the castle and round up our stealthiest and sneakiest spies for a... special task... that has details I need to give after the event is over.”
“... Very well, Your Majesty... I shall leave for home at once.” Sergeant Guy saluted before leaving the room to do the given task.
“Hey, Papa?” Bowser Jr. politely asked his father, to which he attentively responded. “Hmm? Yes, son?”
“What have I got to do?” Bowser Jr. asked with sparkles in his eyes. Bowser stopped ot think for a moment, then with a grin gave his command. “Ha. Tell you what, Junior, why don't you have some fun riding the ol' Green Donkey over there.” The very mention of that name made Chief Yoshi flinch as she quietly spoke to himself. “... After all those years after that battle, a part of me wished I never had to hear that from him...!”
“Ride him as much as you like, he's yours 'til he stops breathing. Ride 'im ROUGH! Don't give him a break!” Bowser finalized the order, to which his mischief maker son smiled happily. “Thanks, Papa!”
Bowser then turned to Kamek and gave his order to him before he left the room. “And Kamek, you're going to make sure he keeps carrying my son, so DON'T let him STOP 'til I'm ready to execute the old fossil.” Kamek smiled at his king with a grin that even tells one of bad news. “Oh! Yes, Sire! You want him to keep going? I know just the method to keep him going! Kehehe... heh hah hah! Kehahahahahahahaha!!!” Chief Yoshi, forced to be the ‘green donkey’ again, this time with Bowser Jr., thought quietly of the predicament he ended up in. “G'ohh, I can't believe a good deed was all that got me into this mess! Somebody get me out of it!”

*Yoshi’s Island ~ Floral Field Forest*
*Insert Theme: “Flower Garden” (Yoshi’s Island)*
A small bit of chaos in the form of a small forest fire caused from the flamses from the Bowser Space ensued, though it posed no problem to the Yoshis as they pitched together to use water and mud to put out the flames effectively, with help from Benjamin and the Shinra duo, so that the party can safely continue. Within moments, the flames were reduced to mere dying embers that soon flickered to nothing.
“Whew... the fires are out at last...!” Luigi sighed as the last of the flames were put out. Peach then walked to the green plumber’s side as she wached the blue and brown veteran Yoshis pdouse the last of the flames. “Hopefully, the trees may recover from the blaze.” Producer-san, looking as the chaos calmed down, decided to note one thing. “And the flowers, too.”
“Thank goodness...!” Moyoshi sighed that everything about this chaos is settled... well almost everything as a single hole in the ground, freshly dug up, was pretty much visible, and from it, echoing sobs that could only belong to one person... Yukiho. “Gomenasaii..”
“Yukiho!” Makoto cried out, surprised that as soon as she let her best friend down, the saddened Idol, quickly pulled out the Diamond Shovel, dug a hole, and buried herself in... again.
“Yukiho, get out of that hole, please!” Ritsuko ordered feverishly, getting the attention of Wario and Walugi, who decided to have some fruit. Wario was chomping on a melon as he looked at the hole and frowned. “Great, the waterworks have opened again...”
Reiji put his Sorin blade back in its sheath to see the hole Yukiho made. Without any second thoughts, the agent walked to Miki and asked in a deadpanned tone. “Is she always like this...?” Miki did not look at Reiji’s serious eyes as she raised her shoulders and shrugged, with one answer in mind. “More than you ever know...”

From deep within the single hole, Yukiho wept sadly, constantly blaming herself for what happened with the Bowser Space. The poor Idol was teary eyed to the point that her eyesight was blurred as she wept bitterly. “I've always had bad luck... and I'm always causing trouble. I could never stand up to bullies... or my father. My body burns from the pain from earlier, even though I still live... I'm really delicate and frail as the flowers I see before me, so fragile and brittle as a single snow crystal... Me, Yukiho Hagiwara...”
Benjamin, sighing for a bit, walked to the hole and quite spoke to the deeply saddened Idol. “Stop belittling yourself. Doing so upon yourself and others brings doubt; doubt dampens beliefs and can bring despair. Never give into despair and doubt and you'll fortify the strengths of your beliefs, as belief and desire can shape everything. It's something I've done almost everyday and you should give them some strength behind yours. Okay?" Yukiho slowly and quietly peered out of the hole and looked at Benjamin’s eyes, which came off as calm and understanding, and began to wipe her tears. Makoto went to support her best friend. Quietly regaining her composure, Yukiho gently smiled. “..Arigatou, Makoto-chan, Benjamin-san.” Mario looked at the three and smiled, knowing that the problem was resolved as he got back on his spot on the board. However, something seemed to be on Yoshi’s mind as he returned to his spot on the board.

“That event from the Bowser Space... it’s sorta like that puzzle that I did long before to save my pals from Kamek long before... but could this be a coincidence? Hmm...” Yoshi began to recall a similar incident which he had to rescue his brainwashed pals from Kamek’s grasp, leading to a battle with Bowser... by himself! Mario looked at his dino pal and had begun to ask out of curiosity. “Hey-a Yoshi! Whatza on your mind?”

Snapped back to the realm of reality, Yoshi turned to Mario. “Huh? ..Oh, it was nothing. Just remembering something from a couple years back.” Mario sighed as he pointed to the board as he walked back to his position. “Well, da party is back on now and-a technically, it’s-a your turn!”
“What are you... oh, it IS my turn now...” Yoshi began to ask in a confused manner, before realizing that is IS his turn next after Yukiho, so he frantically got to the space he was last and hit the Dice Block. To the green dinosaur’s shock, he landed on a space that looked much like the Dance Space, but was colored a sky blue color instead of pink.
*Insert Theme: “Swanky’s Sideshow” (Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble)*
All of a sudden, a singing stage appeared from the sky with a thud with multiple microphone stands, startling the whole group!
“Whaa... is it the Dance Space again?” Ritsuko asked while getting her spare pair of glasses on to take place of the pair that was destroyed during Bowser’s event. Moysohi walked to the intelligent Idol and corrected her. “Close. This is the Song Space. It looks like the Dance Space but did you notice that this one is a different color? Also, there is a slight difference, the team whose member step on this space is the one who will participate. We choose a song a random with what Team Mario and the Idols haves and pick it by way of this roulette! Alright then, ROULETTE START!!” With that, the pink Yoshi started the electronic roulette wheel which lit up the songs randomly until it stopped on a song Mario, Peach, Luigi, Wario, Yoshi, and D.K. were very familiar with...

“Da Supa Smash Bros. Brawl theme? That is a great-a choice, but uh... do any of da Idols know Latin?” Mario asked while scratch ing his head. Most of the Idols were quiet, until Takane stepped forward.
“If you’d like Mario-san, I can help the others understand the lyrics.” The Silver Queen asked, to which Mario smiled. “Take-a your time and let me-a know when you’re ready I’ve got to reminisce a bit of da Supa Smash Tournaments I took part in... That theme had becom-a legendary, even in the Mushroom Kingdom.”
“Oh, I LOVED that theme!" Benjamin agreed with Mario, to which the curious Yayoi asked the interdimensional being in the form of a cyan Yoshi. “Benjamin-san? You're familiar with the Super Smash Bros.?”
*Insert Theme: “Menu 1” (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)
"YOU KIDDING?!?!?! There is HARDLY a single Omnidimensional Being such as myself who doesn't KNOW about the Super Smash Bros. Universal-Dimensional Organization (SSBUDO)! Besides Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, DK, Diddy, Yoshi and Wario- this organization picks capable fighters from different worlds, universes and dimensions who they deem worthy of competing in 4-man battle matches with different rules. Some of my friends and I happen to be regular customers, spectators and fans. I especially happen to won a LOT of Betting Fights and also give away Member Invitations of different kinds. Even leave presents behind." Benjamin eagerly smiled and explained with his eyes glimmering like diamonds, recalling his time when he visited the Smash World with a paid invitation as a VIP fan to watch the fights in the realm ruled by Master Hand and Crazy Hand until the dreaded Tabuu had to make a mess of things. Haruka grew confused as she looked at Benjamin. “Uh, I’m sorry, Benjamin-san, but who’s Diddy?”
“Ooh, I can answer that, Haruka!” Donkey Kong happily stepped in while eating a banana he had in reserve. “Diddy’s my little buddy back at Donkey Kong Island! Believe it or not, we go on adventures together when our precious Banana Hoard or the very isle itself is threatened! Diddy may be small, but he’s a pretty powerful little buddy, especially with his Peanut Popguns!” However, that very comment drew Reiji’s attention. “Peanuts? Are you serious??”

“Yep! Fired in the same ways as you little guns, the peanuts do leave quite a sting!” D.K. smiled as he beat his chest, enough for the Shinra agent’s gloved hand to meet his face. “Ugh... edible ammunition... what will they think of next?”
Meanwhile, hiding by one of the burned trees, Saya overheard Reiji and smirked. “I know what you mean. These ‘peanut bullets’ might lower the cost for resources used up, but to believe they would only exist in a world like this? I’d show up right now, but with these burns all over my skin from Bowser’s little ‘fun’ I’d really not be at my best.” Better head to that nearby spring to wash my face and put back some makeup on...” With that, the seductive werefox, not wanting blow her cover for the time being, snuck away. However, Xiaomu turned in confusion, feeling that she may have heard her voice a bit, but decided to shrug and save the thought for another time, wondering if there were echoes, until she realized on one person that Benjamin said that was of the Mushroom Kingdom that participated.. “Wait a minute... Mario, are you saying that BOWSER of all people entered this tournament too?!” That outburst quickly grabbed the attention of everyone.
“Oh don’t-a worry, Xiaomu. Masta Hand and his-a brother Crazy Hand are a lot more-a powerful than-a Bowsa. In fact, he and anotha villain from anotha world named Ganondorf were forced to agree to follow da rules of da tournament if dey wanta participate! Nothin’ too serious!” Mario brightened things up, which got the group to calm down, yet they were left wondering just who or what is Master Hand.

Just then, out of nowhere, a couple of invitations floated downwards from out of the sky as if from nowhere. Mario spotted the envelopes and used his signature jump to reach for all of them and recognized the symbol on the envelopes.
“Da Smash emblem! Looks like Masta Hand is-a letting us know already!” Mario shouted as he opened his envelope and read the invitation. The red plumber smiled as he put the invitation in his pocket. “Looks like da next Smash Tournament iis in a coupa of months! The party will be already done by then!” Happy of the news, Mario smiled but then noticed a VIP pass addressed to Benjamin.
“Looks like you’ll have-a da VIP status in da Smash World’s audience line again, Benjamin!” Mario smiled, making Benjamin happy. Luigi joined in the conversation with a single beat of his chest. “Benjamin, I hope you are-a cheering for me as I fight.”
“I could hardly win a fight against Bowser despite my pros...” Peach spoke in a downcast tone, recalling that despite her unique ability to float in the air, her light frame made it easy for one like Bowser to easily knock her away.
“It's-a okay, Princess Peach. You can't-a win 'em all, but you'll-a get him.” Mario reassured Peach, which made her feel better. Yoshi then stared at Wario with a dissatisfied stare with particular reason considering what he did during the battle with Dino Piranha back at Sky Station Galaxy. “So long as Wario doesn't pull off his trademarked ‘Wario Waft.’” The green dinosaur finalized his thought in the matter, which made Wario feel a tad overconfident. “Hehehehehehehe, you haven't seen my ‘Atomic Wario Waft’ yet!”
D.K., fearing that this ‘Atomic Wario Waft’ could be even worse, decided to walk toward the chubby mischief maker’s face and glare at him. “Ooohhh, man! That sounds like you can really reel and lose your meal from something that! I'll pound you to you to a pulp if you DARE try doing that around me!”

“Hey, break it up, guys!” Daisy stepped in the break up Donkey Kong and Wario, while Ritsuko stepped in. “Can we get back to the subject here?” The intelegent Idol looked at Takane, who was waiting for the group while eating and sharing some ramen with Moyoshi. The pink Yoshi then announced. “For this, ALL the particiapnts will have to sing. Oh, for those who don’t know the lyrics in Latin, Ms. Takane Shijou has volunteered to mentor the pronunciation of the lyrics through printed scripts. Let me when you all are ready so we can get this underway!” And with that, Takane, placing the ramen aside, went to help teach the lyrics, along with Mario, who had been abroad before. After a bunch a minutes filled with a couple of hits and misses and bit tongues, the event was about to get underway...
*TWEBTY MINUTES LATER...*
After a couple of preparations, concerning lyric comprehension in Latin, the eight participants step onto the stage in front of the rest of the group, who sat in provided tree leaf seats. Reiji stood stoically by a tree, while Xiaomu was getting excited, able to see a live performance in person. Within moments the large screen behind the participants was turned on as D.K. and Moyoshi sat on the Judges’ panel. Moyoshi sighed for a moment, worried on my have happened to her husband, but cast the thought aside for the time being to focus on the event. Iori, Yukiho, Ryou, and Ritsuko were pretty nervous, considering that this time they were going to sing a song in a language not their own. Mario looked at the four Idols and smiled. “Don’t-a worry. Just do da best dat you-a can, okay!” Taknane nodded her approval with a cup of ramen at the ready.
“Okay, every, are you-a ready? One, two, a one, two, three, GO!” Mario signaled the time to sing, which he, as well as Iori, Yoshi, Luigi, Magikoopa, Ritsuko, Yukiho, and Ryou begin at once while holding their scripts!

The performance started a little sloppy, due to the unfamiliarity of Latin to the four participants for 765 Pro, but thanks to the encouragement of Takane and Mario and the minutes of sheer practice with just these lyrics, the four hung in there till the very end while a video was shown of multiple people from other worlds duking it out in differently colored environments, from a space battle cruiser, to even Delfino Plaza, to a race track, to even a checker patterned landscape! All the more while, D.K. and Moyoshi were so moved by the participants’ efforts that they can’t make up their minds.
“Ooh, oh this definitely reminds me of the times at Smash World, and even when my little buddy joined in!” D.K. smiled while wiping his tears of joy.
“So what’ll we do, D.K.? We can’t make up our minds on who did it the best!” Moyoshi grew concerned, to which the ape thought of a quick solution. “Eh, why not we give all of them the Coins and get this over with?”
“Okay, there is no need to bicker over this anyway.” Moyoshi smiled.

All the participants, wheezing and sweating a bit, went to the panel to hear the results. Moyoshi then attentively gave the announcement. “Everyone, we gauged your perfomances, and quite honestly, they were all superb for a first try that we can’t make up our minds. So D.K. and I both had decided we should just give 20 Coins to each of you!” The very news sparked joy in the faces of the participants, as well as a satisfied smirk from Takane. “As expected.”
Iori, Ryou, and Yukiho hugged each other, happy of the accomplishment, while Mario Yoshi, and Luigi high five in delight!
“With that, I think it’s your turn on the board next, iori!” Moyoshi announced, to which the rich girl quickly ran back to the board and hit her Dice Block.

Whether it was a lot of good karma to make up for what Bowser did or not, Iori ended up on the pink Dance Space, prompting everyone to styare at her. “Heehee...”
“Wow, this-a party is on a roll it seems.” Mario smirked, with Luigi nodding in agreement.
“So, before I faced Birdo.. Yoshi, you want to face me in a Dance Battle?” Iori thought of the disastrous Dance Battle back at Guffawha Ruins and how it went, but reassuring herself that this time she will not injure herself, the pretty little Idol issued a challenge to Yoshi, her pal in the kingdom. The green dinosaur closed his eyes for a bit, then reopened them with a confident gaze. “You bet! That’s what friends are for, right?”
Meanwhile in the woods, Poochy raced headlong towards the Floral Field Forest in pure haste, holding Kotori’s hairband in its mouth, determined to get help...

Wow, the first Song Space event is over, but Iori has now stepped on the Dance Space and issued a challenge to Yoshi, which he gladly accepts! CanIori’s second attempt be ablessing or will it be more than she bargained fo? And little Poochy is still racing to meet up with the group with Kotori’s hairband in its jaw? Can he make it to the group before something happens to Chief Yoshi and Kotori? Find out!
Whew, this is the first time for Latin huh, but it’ good that there is one Idol who knows the language, otherwise, there would’ve been a problem! And what is Saya still up to if she is avoiding the group, particularly Reiji and Xiaomu? Who knows...
