Description
After a few days of being in the hospital, Misaki was getting an ultrasound to make sure everything was okay with his babies. He had a close call from being raped by Akihiko and nearly having a miscarriage. Although he still had the babies in his body, Misaki just wanted to be sure that nothing was wrong.

Nowaki held Misaki's hand as the nurse turned on the screen, putting the wand to Misaki's tummy.

"There they are." the nurse said. "How far did you say you were?"

"About eight months." Misaki said, staring at the screen.

"It looks like no harm has come to your children." the nurse said, smiling. "See? You can see their movement clearly."

Misaki smiled from this. Upon seeing his babies, he could now feel the same movement that was on the screen. He felt a great sense of relief to see and feel that his babies were not only okay, but were progressing just fine. "They've gotten so big." he said as his cheeks flushed.

Nowaki kissed Misaki on the cheek. "You'll be a great parent." he said. "I can tell how much you already love your babies."

"I do." Misaki said with tears in his eyes. "With all my heart."

The nurse turned on the speakers.

Misaki smiled as he once again heard the sounds of life coming from inside him. As he listened to his babies' heartbeats, he was feeling happy to have little lives that he was looking forward to raising growing inside of him. However, he also remembered his first ultrasound, and how Akihiko claimed to be as happy as he was. Fortunately, Misaki didn't let that bother him. He knew that he now had someone who, not only loved children, but was also loved by children.

Thinking of how Nowaki would be a great help with his babies made him feel so much better about his situation.

Later that day, Misaki finally returned to the apartment next to Nowaki's. After he and his friend went inside, Nowaki closed the door.

"Nowaki-san," Misaki said, turning to smile at his friend. "How about we --"

Nowaki cupped Misaki's chin in his hand, kissing his lips. Misaki, who was slightly surprised from this, still found himself putting his arms around the gentle giant.

"Misaki," Nowaki said, a look of concern in his eyes. "I'm sorry." He held Misaki's hand, taking them into the bedroom. "I just want you to know how sorry I am."

"About what?" Misaki asked, then found that Nowaki was slowly pushing him down to the bed, kissing his neck. "Nowaki-san..?" He felt his cheeks flushing.

"Misaki," Nowaki whispered. "I know you just got home, but.." He kissed Misaki's cheek, putting his hand under the boy's sweater.

"Nowaki-san.." Misaki said, blushing. "Please don't..."

Despite not being in the mood to go further, Misaki could not help but love the feel of Nowaki's warm hands on his skin. The next thing he knew, his pants had come off, and Nowaki was taking off his own shirt.

"I know it scares you at times," Nowaki said, positioning himself. "But I just hope you can forgive me..." He leaned down to Misaki, licking his way up his neck, making the boy let out a small wimper. "I don't ever want to hurt you..." he whispered softly into Misaki's ear. Nowaki smiled at him, then leaned down to give Misaki a kiss on the lips. "I was hoping you'd be okay." Nowaki admitted. "As much as I didn't want to risk hurting your babies, I just had to know." He locked his fingers with Misaki's. "I needed to know that I could make love to you, and that you were willing to let me." He brought the hand he had locked fingers with to his chest, pressing it to his own skin.

Misaki then remembered the day he lost his virginity to Akihiko. The man who practically raped him after admitting that he was jealous of Keiichi Sumi, then did the same thing Nowaki was doing right now: Letting Misaki feel his heartbeat.

Misaki put his arms around Nowaki's waiste, his cheek pressed to his shoulder. "You really are the best friend I ever had." he said. "Not only that, you may also be the nicest, most thoughtful person I've ever met."

"I could say the exact same thing about you." Nowaki said, smiling at Misaki, putting a hand to his belly. "Not to mention how much I can tell that you're going to be such a good parent. You're so selfless and loving."

Misaki smiled at Nowaki, tears still streaming down his face. "So are you." he said, then put a hand to his shoulder. "I want you to be involved in my babies' lives somehow." he confessed. "I can tell you'd be a good parent, too. Not to mention the kids that I've seen at the hospital all love you." He kissed Nowaki on the cheek.

Nowaki chuckled, gently rubbing Misaki's stomach. "I would love to be part of your childrens' lives." he said. "Truth be told, I want to have kids of my own some day. I've always wanted that."

Misaki put his arms around Nowaki, hugging him. "Who knows." he said. "Maybe you will have kids of your own someday."

Nowaki held Misaki close to his own body, stroking his hair. "Can we just stay like this for a little while?" he asked.

Misaki blushed again. "Y-yeah.." he said.

"I want to enjoy this moment a little longer." Nowaki whispered to Misaki's ear.
