I live in the Saarland, very VERY near to France
Here are sooo many fields and forests...
I was never farther away than Strasbourg, so I have no comparison, but I'm so excited... Maybe I fly to Connecticut next year to take part in a pupil exchange.
My mother told me a story about her American friend Jessy. When Jessy lived in Germany, she found it strange that we eat so much bread for breakfast, dinner... and that we mash the potatoes with a fork.
You're from America, right? What's it like there? *o*

:iconfrenchstareplz: oh mai XD
Oh, wow so much beauty~ I love that kind of open space!
Oh, Strasbourg? That's in France right?
Whoa eally? Pupil exchange sounds so exciting, I've always wanted to participate in one, but I don't think I'm allowed yet!
But bread is good!
The potato-fork thing is different though. We usually mash them before they even get to our plates, in a blender thingy (the ones with the two whisks). But now that I think about it, my family mashes our baked potatoes with forks :3
America....let's see. I live on the Virginia coast which is about halfway down the East Coast. It's pretty temperate here, hot summers , cold winters, nice falls and springs. I live a few miles from the beach, maybe a 15 minute drive. Not so many open spaces here (which i why I love them so much). I live in the suburbs, not a big city or anything. I can't really walk anywhere because not much is close by. It's alright thouh, it' not bad though I've lived here all my life. I've been through Conneticut on a train (i I think, it was on my way to New York City) but I couldn't tell you much about it. I hope you're going in the summer because it's probably cold any other time.
What's school like in Germany?

Yes, it's in France.
I love it, too... I live in the suburbs, too & I'm so happy to live here. If I imagine that I could live in a big city... >.<
Beach? omg, that sounds so amazing *-*
School in Germany... Mhh...
The school starts at 7:35 clock. Mondays, school ends at 4.35. Otherwise we have lessons till 2 o'clock. You can choose clubs, like drama club, but I don't like them.
Mondays, we can eat lunch at the cafeteria, but the food is digusting, so we often go to a supermarket or to mcdonalds xD
But all this is different from school to school.
I like to go to school, cause... At home I would die of boredom xD
... Now, it's your turn

Ohonhonhon~
Oh the beach is pretty fun! I mean, if you live here, it's a pain because when it actually gets warm enough to go swimming, there are tourists everywhere >> but the antives know all the closed in spots and stuff. But I would think you should go to Florida for your first beach experience. I mean, at least the water is clear there ^^'
sounds like out time, except for mondays
Well, in highschool, we start at 7:25 and go until 2. We have four blocks each day, each block is 105 minutes with 5 minutes breaks in between. Usually people have 6 classes and 2 lunch blocks ( I have 7 and one lunch block) We're not allowed to go eat other places, mainly because there' nothing close enough. Some highschools let their kid go places though. Just not mine. but the cafeteria food isn't so bad. I love deli day. It's like going to subway~ On days when I don't have a lunch, I take my own and eat it in one of my classes.
I take Algebra II/Trig, English Honors, Biology, Health/PE, French III, World History I and Health Occupations (we learn about the body and how it works in there)
What do you take?

Florida, mh? I'm going to remember that... ;D
I. hate. Mondays. so. much. -.-
Uhm.. I think this is a little bit different from your school...
For the eighth year we have to choose if we want to choose Italian or physics. (I chose physics. Stupid me.)
And for the tenth year we have to deselect one subject and choose another. Difficult I think.
I deselect physics and chose performing arts.
So, next year I'll have: german, french, english, maths, chemistry, geography, politics, sports, history, art & performing arts.
And in 2014, I hope I'll get my university-entrance diploma.
Blah blah. xD

I've been to Orlando, no beaches as far as I could tell, but disney land was rather nice
I think that's something that is worldwide XD
Oh that's good though! I mean the choosing thing. That way you learn something important either way
I took latin in 6th grade....my teacher was horrible
Performing arts are so fun! I wish I had more talent and/or courage to take theater in high school DX
Oh? Vous parlez francais? Je parle aussi! XD
WOAH 10(or is that eleven XD) classes? That's beyond awesome! We're only allowed to take eight at most and most people only take six. America is slacking in the education department >>
Cool, we graduate the same year

Disney Laaaand? *-*
I've never been there D:
I think I am not very talented, too.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained xD
Ohh, je dΓ©teste parler francais.
I don't think it's the language of love, if you hear a Frenchman speak, you'll know what I mean. It doesn't sound very romantic. D:
Oh, we've 4 classes at primary school and 8-9 at the high school, but you can take 5 classes at high school, too, but this is not a good basis for a good job.
Hehe, that's cool!

ONly one thing- too many stores not enough rides DX
My talent is in shool and pretty much no where else XD
ah bon? Je ne pense pas que le francais est le langue de l'amour aussi, mais il est amusant
it isn't romantic at all. honestly. I mean I don't knwo how they started thinking that- *sees Francis flirting* oh wait yes I do...
Sounds the about the same as here. We've just started online classes in my school system so I could be taking more than 8 if I was allowed
Indeed!

Ohhh... I like Francis so much *-*
I think he's one of my favourites

Yay, doodling!
me too! His voice is like the best thing since sliced bread XD
He's one of my closet faves XD
well you study the class online in your own time and stuff. For PE, you'd do it over the summer and you have to have a cetain amount of excercise in your target heart rate zone. And you have to meet with a trainer to make sure you're not puttig you heart monitor watch thing on your dog or something. I've never actually taken one but I'm taking PE and another over the summer to get ahead.
