OMFG IT"S FINISHED! xDTook me FOREVER. I got lazy when I got to Ash/Satoshi and Pikachu, so the shading sucks. But it's DONE!
So happy . . . Yes, yes, it's a Pokemon Makeover in all its cel-shaded glory. Set when Ash/Satoshi is 16-20 years old, in a random Pokecenter. They haven't seen each other in a while, yet remain oblivious to each other's presence.
I'm not a rabid fan of the series due to the insane amounts of repetitive-ness and oh-so-friendly characters. (I dislike it even more after the voice-acting change. *shudder*) And their outfits are so amazingly dull. (T-shirts and jeans . . . *twitch*) And Ash never seems to age. EVER. xDDD Seriously.
Well, yeah, that's pretty much the only reason this was created. xD First I wanted to see Ash older. And then all the other stuff snuck in. > >;;

Though it's in no place in particular, I did want to allude to Professor Oak's lab, hence the windmill. I'm glad you noticed! Nice catch that Pallet Town has no PokeCenter, as well.

thanks^^ you did well to portray the emoitions of the character's, it really speaks about their nature... and it was a nice touch having pikachu call him an idiot, i've often wondered in the anime, does he call him that just cause ash can't understand him? XP

same here! lol ^^ anyway, you said you weren't a big fan of the series due to the repetednece, and ever so friendly character's they meet... well that can't be helped, cause it's a rated G show... but what if pokemon was dramtically changed, into a R rated show? would you watch it then?

Well, "R" isn't very specific . . . I wouldn't watch it if it were bathed in blood. But I feel that the Japanese version is quite good, especially the earliest seasons. Something was probably lost in translation.

your right... the japanese one's were good... but what i meant is it actually has some beliveble people with a little bit more action... and a little bit more realisticly rendered wounds... look at how ash get's injured and not bleed

awesome, As it turn's out i'm in the middle of writing ,said version... a better pokemon, a FanFic if you will..., were Ash and the gang are all older like your drawing... with a new region, over 70 new pokemon, A wider cast of character's with a better plot, and more unique flow than the original type of american crap... and the best part is, the origanl gang is back together

While it is true Ash never ages and every 1 else dose (witch is realy wierd) Most eps are continuation of the same day so i had to guess hes like 15

There was this one time I recall where Ash was supposedly older... Way back...back when Ash was still with Brock and Misty, there was a Pikachu and Pichu special where Pikachu got lost in the city and has to get back to Ash. (It came with one of the movies...I forget which one, though...)
Ash and co throw a party at the end. Apparently it was to celebrate the anniversary of the day Ash and Pika first met, which would make Ash at least a year older (11). There was never any reference to this after the fact and he has been 10 ever since. I guess it didn't count...

Oh, I know what you're talking about. I remember thinking, "YES! He iz 11!" xD
There are a few references to the passage of time, though, even though they never flat out say he got older. I vaguely remember Jesse and James yelling at a wanna-be Pikachu thief "We've been chasing after that Pikachu since before you were born!!" xD Of course, that could be over-exaggeration.
Anyway, maybe Ash is just chronically vertically challenged. > >
