I'm currently under the opinion that this Background is going to murder me and I will be an unholy sort of lucky if I get out of this silly torture session alive.and once again- SWEET MOTHER OF GIANTFLYING PIGS MY FLIPPING HAND! AAAAAAAAUGH. *cough* That is all.

I'm still going in between making the hair pink or red. I can't decide, it looks really nice either way. There ARE two points of lighting actually or more like the main lighting is in an odd place.
her skin IS dark I was trying to go for ashen or pale in the darkness but.....it didn't work and I decided that it was just a foggy day.
I have been having issues with the house in the BG so I haven't finished it yet. I should update the work in progress shot.

The beginning colors and shading looks fantastic. I like the color combination of green and red to bring a bit of a punch to the color scheme. I'm eager to know if the same style of light treatment on the face is going to be carried througout the exposed skin.
Right now I'd think it's either nightime with some strong side lighting at different points, based on the hues of the face, OR she has a darker hued face and this lighting isn't at night. I don't know which it would be - but it's looking good.
Keep this up! I'm eager to see the next stage, there's just so much possibility.
Overall, the composition and general flow is working well for the image. Nothing seems to be really off balanced yet, so keep working with it! Draw on! (This would make an awesome print too!)

.....once it's done actually there will be. It'll be one of the digital paintings that I'm going to enter into the Art Gallery at Fanime to be auctioned off if it turns out well. If anything there will be poster sized prints (if I'm working in the right size....) there for sale too. ^_~ If I do that I'll save you a copy.
