Description I currently have no experience building custom 3D models for use in video games, and I have no desire to get myself banned from the Nexus family of gaming sites, so I have to do my best with what I have.

This handsome fellow is my "place holder" for the Nemesis character. He is a retextured Super Mutant. Rather "immersion" breaking, but as close as I am going to get for now. The textures were done by FuzeTek, and I had to add them to the 3D model with a program called Nifscope. It is one of many tools that I will have to learn to be able to get very far with this Resident Evil project.

What I would like to do next with him, is change his skin tone to be rather grey, and make a custom leather coat, all to be able to have him look more like the beast that chases you around occasionally shouting "STARS!"

Huh this pretty cool actually. Did you ever finish and release this?

Unfortunately, no.  I became extremely frustrated with the project, for a number of reasons, and shelved the project.  Occasionally, ideas for it run through my head, but I have yet to get back to it.

Hey Super Mutants are a favorite race of mine. I'd love to see you get this out there in some form or another.

If I ever manage to find the drive to do so, I might go back to working on the Fallout 3 Resident Evil mod this was originally included in.  When I was originally working on it, I "hit so many walls" that I just could not get around.  That frustrated me so much that I shelved the project, and hid the version of the mod that was up on Nexus Mods.  Maybe someday...

Really nice work with this so far! I never could get a handle on retexturing for Oblivion; recoloring the original textures was the best I could do.

I have not personally tried working on textures themselves yet, but I am going to have to do so. Not only do I want to change Nemmy's skin tone, I have a modern looking police uniform I need to change from being Los Vegas PD, to Raccoon City PD. Easier said than done, I suppose, but I won't know for certain until I try

You're considerably further (farther? both, LOL) along with NifSkope than I got. I found it ... daunting, to say the least.

I am much more willing to open up the GECK or Creation Kit and try and change something in an existing mod, or even try making something new, than I am to try doing something in Nifscope or Blender. That said, I need to learn how to use tools like these to be able to accomplish what I wish to with my mods.

When it comes to trying to figure out how to do something with either of those programs, the phrase "Google is you friend" is rather correct XD

Getting good screenshots in the GECK can be a real pain. The view controls in the default render window are clumsy, to say the least. I might keep close-ups in mind for when I attempt to change his skin tone and/or work on a more accurate outfit.
