they are both great! Although.... the domed one, originally, had an actual atomicaly correct human skull inside did it not?

That's true. I originally wanted to sculpt the domeless version from the second Alien-movie. I just made the dome for fun, to see if I could do it. I am thinking about modifying the next cast I make, though, and give it that creepy skull on the inside

One of those personal preference kinda things.
PS - Have a friend of mine, who used to work for an FX company, doing a torso for the cyborg head. Think you're gonna be pretty happy with the results. Be a while, but when he gets it somewhere near completed, I will send you some pics. Also have another friend who is an expert painter, where I will leave it for finishing. Pretty stoked. Gonna be a great addition to my somewhat eclectic collection.
