Space Jam is one of my childhood favourite movies too, but it pisses me off, that because of his "critics" and people who seems to don't have their own opinion, they listen and later support him. Therefore - those people start hate this movie too, without actually a good reason. I really don't like it.

Everyone has their own opinion. And NC is a character, a play, something to make you laugh. People are allowed do dislike something, and Space Jam /does/ have its flaws.
