Monsters wearing Human guise; I be not fooled by that disguise! Weakness born of child's dream; even monsters can be made to scream!
Already beaten and already gone, IT's killers have long since long carried on.
So face your creature I need not, for it died by silver when it was shot.

The bloody fuck are you talking about? Pennywise is an entity similar to Discord, while it can warp reality it's not technically magic and not vulnerable to silver. Are you sure you didn't just kill Tim Curry?

I know. So was I.
If you read the book, the first time they beat it they DID use silver. It did not die, but they beat it. They second time they fought, they did kill it, though given your unnecessary use of profanity I'm guessing silver was not also the method of final destruction for the creature. It has been awhile since I've read it.
Never been much good with the names of people, though. Much better with visual memory.

That was why i made the Tim Curry reference. In the book, It laughed off the silver and actually left the kids in Derry to fight the Turtle. The book was really fucked up though, so it probably wouldn't surprise you to hear the TV version was heavily edited.
As for the final way they killed it, they actually exploited a loophole. It has to adhere to the laws of whatever shape it takes, so it can be physically killed. The problem is that death for It is temporary.

its funny how simba's name is so similar to kimba's name but then simba is named lion

That's cause Disney ripped the lion king off of this movie. Simba was named that to dodge getting in trouble, but it wass still an african name and was similar to Kimba.

You haven't actually watched this show if you think it has that much in common with the Lion King :/
The Simba/Kimba thing is just a coincidence. They happen from time to time.

I said it was ripped off from it, not that it was the exact same show with different characters. I'm sure if Kimba was never made, the lion king wouldn't have been either.

Eh... for one thing fiction borrows from previous works all the time. Read about the monomyth for details on that.
Second, I think the Lion King could very well exist outside of Kimba. It might have been different, but I think it would still exist. Hell, my money would be on that it would not even be -that- different. If Hamlet wasn't written on the other hand...

Inyana In reply to ChaosBladewing [2013-08-25 18:39:51 +0000 UTC]
Lol, seriously, I don't have a problem with it as long as the creators don't. And I understand about borrowing from previous works, some my stories are from books I've read that I've twisted up until the are impossible to trace back to the very things that inspired them. There's no telling how things would be had other things not or had happened, but in the end, it really doesn't matter. Things are the way we are, we don't have the ability or the right to change that.

ChaosBladewing In reply to Inyana [2013-09-07 19:13:12 +0000 UTC]
Will I admit at least in face-to-face conversations I prefer bluntness. I have found I prefer people to just say what they mean rather than beat around the bush in a vain attempt to avoid hurt feelings. This is coming from a person usually on the recieving end of criticism .
However I guess I do see... the value in being indirect. Although granted most of the reasons I can think of are rather disingenuous at best and manipulative at worst -_-;;;;;;;

Inyana In reply to ChaosBladewing [2013-09-08 02:16:59 +0000 UTC]
I understand that some people don't want to hurt feeling or something, but if it's important, be straight-forward. if it's unimportant, what's the point in bringing it up?
