I keep seeing pictures, after pictures, after pictures of sad-Derpy / depressing-Derpy / Hurt-Derpy / wounded-Derpy / will disappear forever-Derpy / etc-Negative-Derpy...
-For crying out loud !!- One would think people would actually make POSITIVE stuff about Derpy, instead of such annoying grim/bad stuff ?
Make her triumph, make her victorious of the adversity, make her happy and not caring a damn about the ''blarg-evil people'' trying to silence her(or whatever) ! She's the freaking ''eternal''(subject to interpretation) Derpy/Ditzy !

Yes, yes, before... but recently, with the whole unnecessary mess surrounding the 'Last Roundup' episode...
Apparently many people thought that the best way to ''help'' and ''support'' Derpy/Ditzy was to show her wounded, hurt, sad, depressed, beaten, (to only name to less despicable) etc... which was, when we think about it, a stupid approach and completely opposite of the thing that should have been done.
Now, that ''tendency'' seems to slowly correct itself, and people are starting again to make more decent and happy/good/epic/etc pictures of Derpy/Ditzy.

This makes so much sense. The fans were the ones that gave derpy all it's significance in the first place that's where derpy really comes from. Recognition from the creators of the show is just icing on the cake and they can't change that we did get it.

Derpy ;_; its one thing to be revoiced more girly, but they didn't even have the decency to give her a new name, they just robbed her of an identity! We shall always rememer you Derpy! I'm glad I pre-ordered the Friendship Express DVD that includes an unaltered Derpy! Yay for slow DVD production time!

If they were to edit all the episodes it would be madness and a waste. I can go more detail of the Derpy character and how she effect my little pony but perhaps I should go to the forums for that.

This is the portrayal of of the real Derpy Hooves, all of those other sad pics/Derpy is being erased propaganda really missed the point. Derpy will always be Derpy, since we want her to be Derpy. Sure she started out in the show, but that was for only a few seconds. We took the Wall-eyed beauty and gave her life, from every secular single aspect one can live by. The studio recognized who we were and loved us as fans, so they took a risk by giving us the ultimate shout out, Derpy being canon in all ways we'd (majority) loved her to be like.
I see no reason to get angry over anything, yes this censorship may have been caused by lies and slander, but since Derpy was removed from the episode doesn't mean she's gone forever. She was always with us from the beginning and surely she'll be there even a few years after the finale of the FIM series. So please, if you want to speak for Derpy, speak for the real Derpy. A muffin loving mare with mail-sending, time-traveling shenanigans that affect everyone she comes into contact with.
Also, nice picture Madmax, the only thing I see wrong is that you derped Derpy's body outline color. Also, I like that rock, it be shiny :3

I like the new voice more, as it is more like I always imagined how Derpy speaks. The wally eyes are still there, as much as I saw.
The only thing that put me off was the substituteless removal of her name. But then, she never really had one so it's like Hasbro decided to do the brony community a favour, recieved a little shit storm from somewhere else and took it back.
No need to rage.

I apologise if I am prying, but your comment about her eyes is greatly misinformed.
I disagree with you about the voice, but that's just preference. The new VA does a terrible job at it compared to Tabitha, but obviously Hasbro needed a cheap, fast VA. Personally her original voice was much more interesting and unique.
But the walleyes are most definitely changed! [link] look here! This is what bothers me the most. Not the voice, even the name I can live without, but to remove what made her literally stand out in a crowd? The very reason we began to love her at all? It is awful in its implication. That you can't have a character with a handicap in the show and must be made 'normal'. It's more offensive than she ever was before.
There's no need to rage, but there is a need to address this. It sets a terrible precedent.
