survivor log: day 35"I can't scape, the trains just take me to other towns filled with weird animals and tom nooks. I've been surviving only of fortune cookies and the fruits I can find, the fish are too precious to eat, I must sell them, yes...sell them...then build, and keep building..."

Well yeah, obviously. It is still a good idea to eventually learn the difference between your and you're, though. You'll find that grammar mistakes like that will tend to get your job resumes ignored. The better employers are picky like that.

Unfortunately, they are. The ability to use correct spelling and grammar are often indicative of someone's broader intelligence level. Yes, there are lots of intelligent people who are bad at the finer points of spelling and grammar, but the correlation frequently holds true. Also, an inability to properly proofread your resume reflects a lack of professionalism.

Or you could just, you know, proofread your resumes. It sucks less than dying and doesn't run the risk of you turning into a zombie.

No see, that's the thing. I hate being human. Knowing I could things like Hitler because we are the same species just sickens me. Also I can't see why everyone thinks we been getting better, when I think until war is out of our minds, we will never become better.

Eh... I prefer to look at it this way: humans as a whole have done a lot of stupid and awful things and continue to do so, but it's not so hard to find individual people who are fine. As long as you stay focused on the better individuals around you, the collective idiocy of our species is a lot more tolerable.

That is impossible. Let tell you something, my favorite Heroine Joan of Arc, the kindest, most honest, most generous, most optimistic, most loyal and most magical charisma, was burned alive at the age of nineteen. If we try to ignore the bad, it will hurt us, if we fight the bad it will hurt us, because she did both, ignore before 17, and fight afterwards. What's the point in going on if this shit is just gonna repeat itself!

It's not at all impossible: I do it every day. Besides, the really bad things that happen in the world are the fault of a minority of the human population. Most people are actually pretty reasonable once you get to know them.
As for Joan of Arc, were you aware that she had a violent temper and didn't tolerate objections to her military strategies? Transcripts of court hearings and other documents confirm these facts. That she was willing to speak honestly and fight for freedom are admirable, but chances are, she was a lot more like a normal (albeit charismatic) person than today's heavily romanticized portraits of her make her out to be. That said, if you really want to follow her example, then you should be more willing to persist in spite of the problems of the world. She faced far greater issues than you do and still didn't give up, so why should you?

BULLSHIT!!!! YOU ARE SPEAKING BULLSHIT!!!! I want to follow her example, but that would be impossible. I can't match her kindness, I can't match her honesty, I can't match with her for anything. Plus, since hardly anyone knows, not everyone can follow her example. Because of that, it would be impossible to be kind in a cruel world. I think you would have a bit of a violent temper if you were in her shoes. Basically, everything is against you, even your own ruler. How can you say that her way was the wrong way when it worked? She still had friends, I just have people who like me because of my Aspurgers. Also, if she gets burned for being who she was, than what's the point in trying to be like her.

You don't have to be a saint to be an honest, decent human being, you know. There are millions of people like that, no different from either of us. All you need is the will to act on principle. It's not always easy, but it's certainly doable, since there's no one to stop you but yourself. Have you tried?
I should also note that Joan of Arc had the misfortune of living in a time of constant warfare and political strife. She wasn't burned at the stake for being herself, she was burned at the stake for being a political rebel. You and I are luckier. We don't have anyone trying to kill us, which is why we have the luxury of having this debate in the first place. Instead of comparing yourself too directly to a medieval war hero, try looking at things figuratively. If what you admire in a hero are honesty and kindness, then be honest and kind to the best of your ability. I can assure you that there are loads of people who would appreciate that.
Oh, and for the record, I've known people with Asperger's. I liked them because they were funny, not because they had a medical disorder. I suspect you give yourself too little credit.

Only by shallow, overly judgmental morons, not that it matters what they think. It's also not the same thing as what we've been talking about. People may insult you for having harmless entertainment preferences that happen to be out of the ordinary, but being nice to others is still exceedingly unlikely to draw much ire. The only people who will hate you for being nice to them are the ones who've already convinced themselves that everyone else hates them first, and those people have a serious problem that possibly warrants professional help. No one deserves to live like that.

You want to die because some idiots make fun of you - or not even necessarily you specifically, but people like you - for liking a show about ponies? Come on, man, that's not much of a reason to give up on life. It sounds to me like you've developed the bad habit of paying so much attention the vocal moron minority that you've forgotten that the civilized majority exists. I know it doesn't always seem like it, but trust me, it's there.
Besides, even just a look around at the comments in pony art like this on DA should be enough to remind you that the world isn't nearly that miserable. Everyone is here to enjoy the works of the talented brony artist community. My day is always a little better when I browse through the new updates and see what good stuff has been posted since yesterday.

Isabelle! I never thought you to be so conniving. I can't wait to see what exactly it was that Fluttershy just signed.
And Kiki's picture is.. derp-ish. I remember in the last comic you said that Kiki was the oldest villager that you didn't have a picture from. I wonder how Fluttershy got her picture so fast when she is a very hard villager to befriend.
Resesttii's family portrait in the background is too good.
