Celestia and Luna look positively adorable here!!

That's the perfect combination of absolutely adorable and incredibly gorgeous. The sisters look so happy and awed at the universe around them. The cloud also looks quite comfortable, but Celestia is too excited by the splendor and had to jump up, actually very excitable as a filly. She's freer, plus her hair was a lot easier to take care of back then.
It's also nice to see the sisters when they were getting along and hanging out together. Everything about it (composition, form, coloring... everything) is very uplifting, and extra special considering all of the "Sad Luna" art going around these days.
So double-thanks for that.

Please don't feel bad about drawing the sad Luna artwork because it can be pretty funny, and more importantly some are amazing for their sheer emotional power: There's one picture of her engulfed in darkness (pure blackness) except for her face lit by the single birthday candle on a cupcake in front of her — It's definitely not funny yet one of the most poignant and beautiful ones out there.
Pictures that makes me feel something powerfully, in any direction, are always special to me. So please feel free to take the emotion in whichever way you're moved. It's all good.
But heck yeah! there has to be balance for Luna. If you're ever taking commissions then let me know because I'm thinking of something on the much lighter side.
