Actually I think there was a G1 episode with a similar premise involving Surprise trashing a villain's invention shop.

That would be "The Great Rainbow Caper". Surprise and Danny get kidnapped by villains, then proceed to talk the villains into giving them a tour of their base while they sabotage everything.
