Well it was breast milk from someone that isn't their mother or anything LOL.
And humans do the same thing.
We grown up humans don't milk women dry for their breast milk and drink it, do we?

While we don't milk human women, the very idea of drinking breast milk still grosses people out.

I had a character (based on another classic 80's cartoon) that did this. She ran a diner and used breast milk to make the milkshakes. Which of course became famous for the delicousness.

Well, Mare Milk shouldn't be too different from Cow Milk, shouldn't it? Both are produced by a hoofed, four-legged, herbivorous mammal afterall.

Cows and mares milk has likely some differences. Cows have a different digestive system. They ruminate... aka, they chew their cud... aka, they have 4 "stomach" chambers, and they actually regurgitate their meal and chew on it more, and then reswallow it. Gross, yeah. But that's how cows live. Horses not only don't do that, but are in fact incapable of vomiting at all. Horses focus on a very long intestine to absorb nutrients, rather than a multi stage stomach and rumination to predigest food.

Yes, I know about the differences. Ungulates are not really all as close related as originally thought, with even toed ungulates being closer related to whales then to Odd-Toed ungulates. However despite the difference in digestive tracks, cows and horses have essentially the same diet.
