actually there's a real article about "how to save a relationship" using the magic of internet , I saw a bunch of people discussing it on tv, it was.....weird.but yeah, what could possibly go wrong?

If I had a girlfriend and she was checking out my computer stuff, she would find:
-My comic ideas, both wholly written and only ideas/title
-My first and so far only fanfiction still on progress
-Alot of MLP FIM screencaptures, fanart and wallpapers
-Alot of scanned and more or less finished artworks of mine
-Alot of tutorials downloaded and/or copied from internet (videos and pictures)
-Game Boy Advance emulator and some of the best GBC and GBA games ever
-Some free art and music programs (GIMP, Paint.net, Milky Tracker etc.)

Anyway, call me silly filly, but I think that insanely huge prawn collection of yours just miiight have something to do with you not having a girlfriend. Not that my hobbies has ever helped me on that matter, but at least it should`t have been in the way, either. Wouldn`t you having a girlfriend decrease your need of that prawn, anyway?

I don`t think so. I have absolutely no regrets at all for watching it less than I used to watch it couple years ago. Prawn is good when you have certain needs, but if you can control those needs, you don`t really need prawn that much either. Also, if I had a girlfriend, I wouldn`t need to deal with those needs alone, but still, it`s not like she could always be there to help me with that, so whetever a person is single or not, having a little selfcontrol over these things is never bad. And I don`t know about you, but I would rather get some real action than just watch those things on my computer screen. Although it`s not impossible to have both, I know that in the long run I would defenitely be happier this way, choosing only the better choise, which is that girl obviously.
Why wouldn`t I be? Sure, pleasi...erm, taking care of those needs is fun, and more needs means more fun, but isn`t it sometimes troublesome to have that much those needs? Wouldn`t it be just simplier to have some control over those things, do it (and most importantly NEED it) less often which case you would probably apprieciate it more and have more time for other, more important things? Well, I`m not sure if that actualy time spend at computer might be that bad, but when our thoughs returns time after time to that very same thing, it kinda has effect on our life/-style and I`m not exactly sure it`s a good thing. Even if prawn was good thing, it`s not exactly a bad idea to slow down a little bit either, don`t you think?
Lastly, it`s crystal clear than I`m happy with my decision, but I`m quite sure that if you did the same thing as I did, you defenitely wouldn`t regret it.

Not that I wrote answer that long for the sake of answering. I just tend to write long comments when I want make my point clear. So yeah, that`s my honest thoughts of discussed matter and would be happy if you gave it a serious though. Afterall, error is human and there`s always something wrong with our beliefs that other people gets right. If my opinion really doesn`t make any sense to you, you could easily tell yourself what exactly is wrong with my way of thinking, instead of stating the obvious "I disagree/don`t belive that" without giving it a further though. Challenging own beliefs is rarely a bad idea.
I`m too serious? Well, you might be right about that. I mean, I wrote such a long and complicated answer to a simple and short discussion such as this one...I certainly can`t blame you, but in the other hoof, I couldn`t possibly state my opinion properly if I wasn`t so serious. Perhaps you`re not serious enough for having such a conversation? Again, I can`t really blame you about that, either, but as the truth might be more complicated than you think, I recommend you to give that another though to those opinions of mine.
If I was wrong, it would mean that I have just thought these things too much, but as some of those claims are based on my personal expriences (like, how I`m happier this way), I can`t be completly wrong either, now can I? Why should you even consider my beliefs instead of sticking with your current one? Because I`ve been on a similiar situation as you`re in right now; I`ve once thought that there`s nothing wrong about prawn at all. If I hadn`t, it would be really hard for me to be any convincing at all no matter how right I was.
