The is my second drawing of Lt. Horatio Caine from CSI Miami.Media used - HB 2, 3B pencils, blending tools, and sticky tack. I read this book called 'How to Draw Lifelike Portraits from Photographs by Lee Hammond' which was very helpful and I would recommend to anyone wanting to gain insite to drawing.
I used Photoshop CS3 to add boarder, along with levels adjustment to make the drawing dark enough to post.

Great Job! The only thing I can say is something that comes with practice and that's letting your darks bring out your lights. My high school art teacher trained under Lee Hammond and I've been privileged to meet her and visit her studio and she is an amazing lady. And the studio! OMG I was blown away. I'm going to one of her 5 day workshops at the end of the month and blowing half of this month's paycheck but it's definitely worth it.
