Description
based on designs for the Avali Mod (Starbound)This is my character Dom Black fur (or main body), Dark blue trim with a bright Blue feathers (head etc.)
Forgive the poor quality of the shot my scanner died along time ago and I only had my mobile phone to take a picture with
Top left is more or less copied from the designers drawings
The middle is a surprised Dom with a compact rifle
and at low left is Assault armour head and combat body gear

Feather, the main feather color (ex top of head, arms)
Trim, an outline
Down, a soft neutral color for the body (main body color)

Or, you know, do whatever
The main rule to go by is that males -tend- to have brightly colored bands or markings, but the SB mod was limited in what Ryuu could work with, so you can do more than what you'd see in-game or on most arts.
Females are far less flashy, and tend to have natural two-tone feathers, as well as being dappled/splotched/flecked/what have you
But of course creativity, feather dyes, and modifications exist, so you could have them be whatever color you like and for the most part it'd be fine.
