Description
My rendition of an alternative version of the Soldier class from Team Fortress 2, replacing the mid-20th century setting with a modern one, and the Rockwell-esque painterly style with one more akin to a contemporary graphic novel.

"I'm gonna liberate the SHIT out of you."

Do not make eye-contact with The Soldier. If possible, avoid being within a few meters of him for extended periods of time. And do not, under any circumstances, say ANYTHING contradictory to his beliefs. A number of tours of duty in Iraq with the US Marines, coupled with a nasty case of shellshock and a deep-seated desire to yell at and kill things, makes the Soldier a tough customer, for foes and allies alike.

The Soldier's design here is pretty obvious- a thorough jarhead (in more ways than one, given aforementioned jar is mostly empty in this case), so obviously there's a lot of similarities with the original TF2 design, only modernized. And besides which, I would imagine this version's disposition and language to be considerably different- more coarse, vulgar and blunt, less like the authoritative drill-sergeanty type and more like the meatheaded kid who drops out of high-school to go to Afghanistan. Also, this character is in no way an insult to any nation's armed forces*.

*That was a lie. He very much is an insult to any nation's armed forces.

Notable silhouette identification traits:

-Body armor and chest rig (Bulky around the upper body, especially lower torso; relatively slimmer legs)
-Moves with a posture similar to his original counterpart, with his momentum focused about his waist.
