Description
I combined the characters of Exodus (Bennet Du Paris) and Vulcan (Gabriel Summers) for this version of Exocus. I always felt both characters were poorly conceived with ill-defined powers and were always just characterized as "super powerful emo-guy" with "generic energy powers". In my universe, Gabriel Du Paris, instil the third Summers brother, though he is the elder with a different mother being conceived out of wedlock on one of Christopher Summers tours of the Middle-East (unawares to both his brothers). Exodus was one of Xaviers first class of X-men though he would turn out to be a double-agent for Magneto, he would later lose an arm and be scarred by a confrontation with Logan.As a MASSIVE FMA fan I re-imagined his powers as being the ability to manipulate inorganic in a manner akin to alchemy with his arm being made of reconstructed carbon. His look was also inspired by the Ishvalans of FMA.
He is of Morrocan decent and is a practicing Muslim.

I love how you combined the two and made a backstory work! Before I didn't actually realise that this was Gabriel but now that I bothered to read it, it makes alot more sense! Great job on the design too!

thanks man, they are two characters that I think don't work in the MU as they are overpowered, ill-defined and boring. I guess I'm a fan of streamlining in both design and story!

Agreed, I do believe that the two needed more character development to make them more interesting. You are very creative that you can combine two uninteresting characters to make an interesting one. May I ask, how did he lose his arm?

Oh, in my MU he lost his arm and was scarred after an encounter with Logan (I'm sure this needs little more description).

Oh ok, I didn't get that before, sorry. But again, I am really enjoying your art. And can I ask, do you plan on making a second half to the young xmen? Id like to see other people you picked out as your version of First Class. Its always nice to shy away from canon for a while.

Yes, at some point. It was my intention but I got bored and distracted by something else, my First Class squad is meant to be Logan, Exodus, Dazzler, Beast and Beast (pre-change) I have a lot of real-life commitments over the next few weeks so will probably have to slow up a bit. I love canon but I'm so disatisfied with the current iteration of Marvels televised output that I thought I would try my own, streamlining towards a single plot in the process. If you ant to see some fabulous non-canon work from the real deal you should check project rooftop, its what inspired me.

That sounds like an awesome line-up. Wolverine would make sense with the First Class, because of how old he is. Did you mean Banshee? Because I think you listed Beast twice. But I really like how you altered the story and made it work well. I have seen some of Project Rooftop too, thanks.
