This is nice~ I hate watercolours so much---I always screw them up.

You did a good job then~ The biggest problem I always had with watercolours is that if I did sketch it the sketch lines were immediately apparent, and if I didn't sketch it my proportions died a very slow, painful death.
Nice job so far~ I can't wait to see the finished piece.

It's a hard thing to do, I know where youre coming from. I had a few classes that taught watercolor in college so they helped me tackle my problemss. :>
