Ya know, I've said it a million times already but I'll say it again. The worst thing that ever happened to the ROM series was when Sal Buscema left the title. ROM 65 in particular could have been so much more of an epic issue if ANY other artist working for Marvel at the time had taken over the art instead of steve ditko. Anyways, here's a little something I whipped up this weekend during some down time. As many of you know Beta Ray Bill was one of the many Marvel superheros appeared in ROM 65. I like Bill's pose. You could make his cape more "flowing", perhaps. The cape of Thor (and Beta Ray) has always looked like more "powerful" (for lack of a better word) than other capes, except maybe Doom's.

thanks for the feed back amigo i'll remember that if i ever draw Bill again. as far as the pose goes i'm really happy with it too even though when i started drawing him it's not what i had in mind. what i was originally going for just wasn't coming out right so i settled for an easier pose but it turned out pretty good anyways.

Looking good. maybe you should try looking from different angles at them. Usually superhero comics are kindof manga like nowadays.

it's like everything else in life for every day people like you and me my friend, so many possibilities . . so little time. but lately i've managed to crank out about one drawing a week so i'm not complaining. my girlfriend likes to watch football which i'm not into so that gives me the time i need on the weekend to do these.
