A picture for the contest of Garrett's Clocktower. Not really the thing that scared me the most in the Thief-games, but this was the only thing that came to my mind. After all, the awful Puppets in the Shalebridge Cradle will haunt me for ever, but Haunts are so much more fun to draw.This one wasn't very thought through, I just started to draw right away, no sketch, no reference used for it. And in the end, the whole pic only took 30 minutes. But for someone, who hasn't been able to draw anyone remotely human in months, I find it is a big step forwards.
Wait and you'll find us
The comfort of ghosts
Time unites all
Go where the haunted bloom
Rejoin and re-flower
Go where there's only truth
Rejoice in the spires
All we've known is finite

Cool. It's been a while since I've seen any new Haunt drawings. I always did love your Thief art, and just your style in general. Yes, those freaks from Shalebridge will probably be my entry--they still manage to frighten me.

There is one picture here on dA with Garrett's super scared face and a puppet in the background. For me this was exactly how it felt like to be in the Cradle, so I didn't want to try to express an own version of this as it was perfect the way the artist drew it. So I am very curious to see your version

Thank you for the kind words. With the ink pen I used it seems to be easy to create a used and rotten look, so I thought it would go well with the haunted cathedral and the generally haunted part of the City
