This is my second try at building guns. I was a bit worried about them, but they were good enough to win me an award ("Born to Be Wild") at Anime Punch. Whoo! My first one! That was such a boost, I can't even tell you! *is still all giddy*
I think the Revolver is my favorite, but I'm ridiculously pleased that I got that upside-down mount to work for the Persuader holster (shot on the far right)
Sadly, I've lost the data for my in-progress shots. Here's a run-down.
Revolver
Frame/Butt: Mat board, Model Magic, Mod Podge
Chamber: Soda can and Model Magic, metal washers
Barrel: PVC pipe, hardware nut
Trigger and Hammer: Matt board, coat hanger wire and Model Magic

Persuader Holster

This is soooo amazing! The guns look really accurate!
But what really got me is the holster *drools* I wish I had your molding skills!
It'd take me forever and a whole lot of money to find and buy a replica model of a Colt Navy or 1851 (Cannon) and a Colt Target (Mori no Hito)
This is really going the extra mile^^ Now that's what I call dedication... and awesomeness... mostly the awesomeness (XD is that even a word?!)

Thanks so very much! And of course 'awesomeness' is a word... I'm sure we'll see it in Webster's any day now!
I am so very proud of these guns. Especially fun is the Persuader holster. It's a detail not a lot of people see under the coat, but still seemed necessary. (Don't know if that makes me a perfectionist or a sadist. ^_^)It's pretty strong, too - usually stays in place all day, and detaches easily.
Glad you enjoyed them!

Thanks!
When I start a project, there are always a couple of "sweet spots," points I cannot WAIT to figure out. This holster was definitely one of them. I mean, I COULD have just carried around two guns - most people wouldn't even see the Persuader mount under the trenchocat. Still, I wanted to try. Behold, the power of magnets! (Lots and lots of magnets... some of which I managed to attach backward TWICE... fun times!)

Thanks so much!
I am ridiculously happy with how the guns turned out - you'd never believe they started life as a box of model magic, soda cans, and foam core!

fantastic job on the holster- I wasn't sure how you were going to carry that one off. Seriously, I should just have you make all y props from now on. I wonder how you would do the HalCannon...
