Something I quickly threw together for Valentine's Day.The last few years,I've done Valentine's-Day-themed pics,usually with a dark and/or gory twist,and then submit them to ,which has a special gallery...but this year,I just could not for the life of me think of anything along those lines...so I did this...been doing several robot pics for the past year.
Also,I had yet to do a robot wearing clothes...admittedly,easier to do than rendering a mechanical body.

Yes, the mechanical can be allot more subtle than the gory, that's for sure. Like how much us humans find greater social interaction with a electronic screen than actual physical places of objectively solid existence like the woods or the living in Mexican style farming communities far from the English notion of homesteading and agribusiness plantations. Luckily these robots actually have real relationships with no Las Vegas style multi story virtual reality dating simulation arcades in their mechanized society.

I've been drawing since I was a kid,and I've had art classes. I guess I'm just applying all that to this medium. Believe me,it wasn't easy as first...after years of holding the pencil/pen/brush in my hand and directly applying it to the paper/canvas,I had to get used to a new way of thinking. The lure of everything you can do with digital painting,much of it unavailable in previous mediums,kept me going.

Oh I figured it wasn’t something you just randomly started doing perfectly one day, it took me weeks at least just to get where I am in 3D modeling and that’s not counting the couple of months spent just making and deleting models for practice.
You’re doing a really good job with this stuff, don’t ever stop improving.
