Description
.....Our tour nears its end.Once again within the dismal halls of the hunting club,we slowly approach a dead fireplace, above which hangs a painting depicting a stocky,middle-aged big-game hunter,a rifle resting in his hands, one leather boot resting triumphantly on a dead tiger sprawled at his feet. The surrounding walls are hung with tiger trophies, but unlike none we have ever seen before,as each has an unusual feature---one mounted head wears an eyepatch, another sports a black eye,a bone rests in the mouth of another, and so forth.Dominating this scene is a sight stranger still,as the ghost of the very hunter in the portrait is in attendance, yet he cannot move---the tiger-skin rug upon the floor has come to life, and has seized the hapless poltergeist by the seat of his trousers, engaging the pair in an eternal tug-of-war!
This strange sight is but a precursor to what follows,as our doombuggy turns a corner, passing before an assemblage of dusty mirrors. The reflection within them reveal that we now carry an extra passenger---one of the morbidly comic tigers from the trophy room has chosen to ride with us!
The end of our journey is near--we can sense it-- but before we emerge again into the world of the living,a short passage of darkness emerges into a familiar-looking room.We realize we are back in the Colonel's private sanctum, from where we learned of the strange fate that befell this mansion and its occupants. But the room is no longer as we first beheld it,as indeterminate age and dust have plunged it into monochromatic gloom. The furniture is gone, the great window is boarded shut, and the space above the fireplace no longer holds the Colonel's portrait, but two ghosts, smaller than human scale, sit upon the crumbling mantel;it is the Colonel and the old voodoo woman, sharing a pot of tea, regarding us as we pass,"Be sure to bring your death certificate,if you decide to join us!",to which the Colonel replies,"Oh,yes,by all means, make final arrangements now. We've been dying to have you!Er---more tea,my good woman?"As we leave this amiability in the after life behind,we make our exit, although it is assured we will never forget what we have beheld in---the Doomed Adventurer's Club!!!

I think its awesome and that Disneyland has room for more than one Haunted attractions.
I am going to try to recreate this ride on RCT3 but it might not be too accurate and I'll tell you if I ever get it done

Especially if you're going to use RCT3;I know from the many examples I've seen on YouTube that among the many creative limitations involved, you can't create human figures with it.Still, best of luck!

Idea is quite chessy. Total ripoff of the greatest ride ever! No offense, but I just don't like the idea of the haunted mansion turned into some safari shack.

Not a ripoff---a variation, which theoretically would be in a Disney park---and not a shack---a hunting club, built by wealthy hunters who received their comeuppance in the form of a curse.

I like that idea. It not only fits the theme of Adventureland, but also retains enough of what made the original Mansions so that if you were to walk by the attraction in the park, you could look at it and recognize it as a "Haunted Mansion". I also like how you added a story to it, rather than keeping it a mystery like with the American Mansions.
