I suppose this is a nit-picky thing to complain about,but....
I'm gonna do it anyway because it f*kin ' BUGS me!!!!!!!!!!!At this time of year, you hear a lot of Halloween music...that is,songs readily associated with the holiday like "The Monster Mash",the "Ghostbusters" theme,"Thriller",even songs with a admittedly tenuous connection like "Abracadabra" by the Steve Miller Band.They're played on the radio,oldies and top 40 stations alike,at parties,over the loudspeakers at Halloween stores;some cable TV systems have music channels,one of which might be seasonal music,yet another place to find them.
Well,what I really,really,REALLY HATE is hearing versions of them recorded by sound-alike artists!!!!
Those Halloween party albums,like Drew's Halloween Music That I Paid For The Rights To The Song But I'm Too F*kin ' Cheap To Pay For The Original Recordings are FULL of them.Bobby "Boris" Pickett wannabes,ersatz Michael Jacksons,guys who sing like Ray Parker,Jrs' voice was described to them over the phone,and so on.And,like Christmas carol-musak at Wal-Mart on November 1st,they're EVERYWHERE.
I mean,if I went to "Beatlemania",and the performance WASN'T an incredible simulation,I'd give the guy in the ticket booth just ten seconds to refund my money before I light this fuse.

I know,I know.....it's an incredibly nit-picky thing to complain about...but if people didn't complain about nit-picky things,half of the internet wouldn't exist.
