Description The fifth in a series depicting the Seven Deadly Sins.

To me,there's never been a more effective depiction of human gluttony than that in the last Monty Python film,in a sequence where a grotesquely fat man in a dinner suit{Terry Jones in a truly bizarre makeup job}waddles into an upscale gourmet restaurant and, after several minutes of projectile-vomiting,eats so much he explodes---literally.
It's just the unbelievable juxtaposition of elements, that such an odious individual would be allowed to eat in such a place, and that he would choose to stuff himself to an early grave with gourmet food, when a wheelbarrow loaded with piles of fast food would've been just as effective{certainly cheaper}.
This is not that character;I wanted him to look pathetic, not comical{although he will no doubt be viewed that way by many}.Addiction to food is just as self-destructive as to anything else; perhaps even more so,because it doesn't carry the same sort of sociological stigma that alcohol, tobacco, and drugs have.
