October is still a few days away,but I had a Halloween idea that just couldn't keep...when EC publication MAD made its debut in 1953,in its original form as a comic,it didn't take long for the wannabes to hit the newsstands...in fact,by the following year,there were twelve other such titles,not counting PANIC,also published by EC. Many of these folded before the year was even over.I'm using that format here,and including personal favorites of mine,the ghoulish trio of narrators from EC's immortal horror comics...which amazingly,didn't get lampooned that much by MAD's imitators...
Maybe they feared a possible response from Frederic Wertham?

Yes, it is always a nice treat when the distributers make fun of their own properties. Just like a few Topps products where made fun of on their Wacky Packs trading cards.
