Now isn't that sweet, plus I love the class of 1971 button on Frankenstein shirt. The use of purple and dark green is reminiscent of the Xeroxed inked cels of Filmation and the late Hannah Barbera.

There are several different versions of these monsters open to interpretation. The VH movie is just one such view. Nothing has "changed." The other versions are still there.
