As all those who follow Disney's famed Haunted Mansion attraction have learned,the legendary Hatbox Ghost has "returned" to the Disneyland version of the ride. For those unfamiliar,he was originally to be a resident of the iconic attic scene when the attraction first opened in 1969. Unfortunately,the special effect involving his vanishing head didn't work as well as hoped,so he was removed before the ride opened to the public. No announcement was ever made of this,but stalwart HM fans learned of the spectre's existence,leading to years of rumors and fan art...much of which I've already seen here on DevArt in response to the return.
