Inspired by Astro City, Kurt Busiek's and Alex Ross' comic book anthology series....among its cast of characters are the First Family, a family of scientists and super-powered adventurers who are like a cross between the Fantastic Four and the Challengers Of The Unknown; according to their history, it began with brothers Augustus and Julius Furst, who traveled the hidden lands of the world as young men in one incredible adventure after another. Here, I'm envisioning a pulp-type comic documenting such an endeavor.
