Description
So on the way back home I looked in the mirror and saw the sun starting to do this. I was trying to find a good location when I just pulled off the road and took this shot. At first I was disapointed, because it wasn't the shot I wanted because there was a tree in the way and I was shooting at an angle. It wasn't until I got home that I realized that the suns beams actual lit up the town...________________________________________ ______

Beautiful sunrays coming through clouds. Giving the effect of heaven coming down or something of that nature. Great shot. Added!

Great editing job and a beautiful scene. I wonder which water tower that is. I'm in Iowa too.

Was this in an auto-exposure mode because I've never seen 111/10000 as a selectable exposure. Of course, this might be different on a Canon, where as I'm a devout Nikon user.

For some reason the exposure gets all screwy after I use photomatrix's plugin for CS2... maybe there next update will fix this problem, that and Microsoft's re-sizer seems to leave off most of the camera's info when they are re-sized

Why don't you just use regular photomatix? Are there any differences between it and the plugin?

This is quite an interesting shot. There's something about this dreary, yet beautiful scene that appeals to me. The road and grass blend in well with the rest of the colors.
