Description In the break between moving people to high ground from flooding a strong thunder storm moved thru the area. I was trying to catch some lightning in the distance when one it less than a mile away, time to go inside!

I love thunderstorms, but we hardly see them here. I have two rolls of 1600asa in the fridge, waiting on a decent storm. Hope one happens this summer

Sorry to hear that. Floods can be pretty devastating too. The town next to ours flooded this year (we got it last year and still haven't fully recovered). We have a small river here that has been threatening to go out for over a week now, but it seemed to have dropped last night. Anyway.. be safe!
